According to a 7 September 2023 advertisement in the Daily Express Newspaper, Sardar Bahadur Khan University SBK Women University Quetta, Quetta Balochistan Pakistan has vacancies for research assistants, computer technicians, female computer technicians, and research associates. DAE, MS, and other advanced degrees are preferred.

Pakistani nationals are invited to apply to fill the positions solely on a contract basis. There are research jobs available at SBKWU Quetta, according to the Spatial Decision Support Systems Laboratory (SDSS). The National Center of GIS and Space Applications (NCGSA), which has labs established in seven institutions across Pakistan and is based in Islamabad at the Institute of Space Technology (IST), includes the SDSS Lab.
