Registrar, Controller of Examinations & Director Finance & Planning (BPS-20) — University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (UAJK), Muzaffarabad | 3-Year Contract

The University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (UAJK), Muzaffarabad—a public-sector university—invites applications from accomplished professionals for three senior administrative posts on open merit for an initial three (03)-year contract (extendable per rules): Registrar (BPS-20), Controller of Examinations (BPS-20), and Director Finance & Planning (BPS-20). The roles are stationed at Chehla Campus, Muzaffarabad (AJK) and require proven leadership in university administration, examinations management, and finance & planning respectively.

Must be adept in latest office/exam automation, MIS, and stakeholder communication.40–45 years (not applicable to in-service).
3Director Finance & PlanningBPS-20Chartered Accountant (CA) OR at least 2nd Class Master’s in Business Administration/Economics/M.Com from HEC-recognized institution.At least 17 years teaching/administrative experience in the relevant field in any RPS/Government/Semi-Government organization in BPS-17 & above. Must be highly proficient with computers, have comprehensive knowledge of Government financial rules/regulations, budgeting, audit, and planning.40–45 years (not applicable to in-service).

📌 Contract Tenure: 03 years (extendable as per university/government rules).

2) What These Roles Deliver (Practical View)

Registrar (BPS-20)

  • Lead the Registrar Secretariat, oversee statutes, notifications, affiliations, HR records, and student services, and ensure clean compliance with syndicate/academic council decisions.
  • Drive process digitization, e.g., e-office, records archival, and dashboard reporting.
  • Represent the University in official correspondence with HEC, AJK government, and accrediting bodies.
