Academic Qualification and Age Limit

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification and age limit according to the STI Policy issued by the Special Education Department. Fresh candidates are encouraged to apply for these Special Education Teaching Interns Jobs 2026, while preference may be given to candidates having relevant teaching experience.

The required qualification must match the relevant specialization, such as Hearing Impairment (H.I), Visual Impairment (V.I), Physically Disabled (P.D), or Mentally Challenged (M.C). Candidates applying for Visual Impairment posts must also provide the required Braille proficiency certificate where applicable.

Terms and Conditions

The engagement of School Teaching Interns will be purely temporary, school-specific, and non-transferable. No age relaxation will be granted under the STI Policy. Preference may be given to applicants with teaching experience.

The duration of hiring will be 09 months, excluding summer vacations during Financial Year 2025-26 and 2026-27, or till the arrival of regular incumbents, whichever is earlier. Monthly honorarium will be Rs. 40,000 for BS-16 posts and Rs. 45,000 for BS-17 posts.

No right of regular appointment shall be conferred. Performance and attendance will be strictly monitored by the concerned authorities. Engagement may be terminated on one-month notice or payment in lieu thereof.
