What You’ll Do (Expanded Responsibilities & Impact)

Deputy Director – Application Development (PPG-7)

  • Lead cross-functional development squads to design, build and maintain high-availability, high-security e-government applications used by citizens and service centers across Punjab.
  • Own the .NET stack (C#, ASP.NET Core/MVC, Razor Pages/Blazor), API lifecycle, and DevOps pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git) to ensure rapid, reliable releases.
  • Architect scalable data access layers (Entity Framework Core, ADO.NET) and optimize SQL Server performance.
  • Enforce secure coding, identity & access (Identity Server), and observability standards.
  • Coach engineers, run sprints and retrospectives, and deliver SSRS-based MIS reports for leadership.

Deputy Director – Data Support (PPG-7)

  • Develop a data visibility framework for operational and executive decision-making.
  • Build SSRS dashboards and statistical reports integrated with live systems for real-time monitoring of service workloads, turnaround times, and compliance metrics.
  • Partner with application and network teams to ensure data quality, lineage, and refresh SLAs.
  • Introduce self-service analytics and documentation that improves citizen-service transparency.

Deputy Director – Network Support (PPG-7)

  • Design and operate enterprise-grade networks spanning data centers, disaster recovery, Service Centers, and secure government links.
  • Manage Cisco switching, routing, firewalls, UCS, load balancing, MPLS, Active Directory, messaging (Exchange 2016), and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Lead BCP/DR drills, security hardening, and 24×7 availability for mission-critical services.
  • Plan capacity and implement zero-downtime maintenance windows; mentor network engineers.

Assistant Director – User Management & QA Support (PPG-6)

  • Administer user lifecycle and access controls across PLRA platforms in coordination with security teams.
  • Design test plans, automate regression suites, track defects, and ensure release quality.
  • Facilitate UAT, coach stakeholders on acceptance criteria, and maintain traceability from requirements to deployment.
  • Generate quality dashboards and compliance reports for audits and policy reviews.

Assistant Director – Data Support (PPG-6)

  • Administer production databases supporting online transaction processing for land records.
  • Implement backup/recovery, monitoring, performance tuning, and change control.
  • Collaborate with development teams on schema design, indexing, partitioning, and HA/DR solutions.
  • Maintain robust SOPs, perform root-cause analysis for incidents, and support audits.
