Why Consider the OPF Internship Program 2025? 🌟
This program has been designed to do more than just fill a line on your CV. It aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and real workplace requirements, especially for the children of overseas Pakistanis who may have unique exposure and aspirations.
Key Benefits
- 💼 Real-World Work Experience
Interns are placed in active departments – finance, HR, legal, IT, engineering units, social welfare, media and more – where they participate in day-to-day tasks, meetings and projects. - 🧑💻 Professional Skill Development
You’ll learn how to work with organisational software, draft official letters, handle files, conduct research, assist in project planning and present information to seniors – exactly the kind of skills employers look for. - 🤝 Networking Opportunities
Working in OPF’s head and regional offices exposes you to senior officers, professionals, consultants and project teams. These connections can be valuable reference points when you later apply for jobs in Pakistan or overseas. - 🏅 Structured Learning Environment
Since it’s a CSR initiative, the emphasis is on learning rather than routine clerical work. Supervisors are encouraged to coach and mentor interns, helping them refine communication, office etiquette and time management. - 💸 Financial Support Through Stipend
A monthly stipend starting from Rs. 35,000 allows interns to focus on their training rather than worrying about basic expenses, which is especially helpful for those relocating from other cities. - 🌐 Stronger Job Market Position
After six months to two years of systematic training, interns can apply for regular jobs (in government, private or development sectors) with a much stronger profile, showcasing practical experience alongside their degree.
