VISITING FACULTY REGISTRATION

Applications are invited for appointment as Visiting Faculty in the Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) from qualified, motivated and committed professionals in the following disciplines:

Disciplines

1. Arabic
2. Commerce
   • Specialization in Islamic Banking & Finance
   • Specialization in Accounting & Finance
3. Computer Science
4. Education
5. Fashion Design
   • (Textile & Clothing with BS Fashion Design)
6. Forensic Science
   • M.Phil Forensic Science / M.Phil Chemistry (with 05 years’ experience in a Forensic Lab)
7. Information Technology
   • (Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Networks, Software Engineering)
8. Media & Communication Studies
9. Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)
   • (BS MLT compulsory)
10. Political Science and International Relations

Eligibility Criteria

A) For Visiting Assistant Professor

(i) For all disciplines other than Engineering, Information Technology, Computing Sciences, Law, and Art & Design

• Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. (or equivalent) in the relevant discipline, awarded by an HEC-recognized University/Institution.
• Experience: As per HEC criteria.

(ii) For Engineering, Information Technology, Computing Sciences, Law and Art & Design

• Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. (or equivalent) in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized University/Institution.
• Experience: As per HEC criteria.

B) For Visiting Lecturer

(i) For all disciplines other than Engineering, Information Technology, Computing Sciences, Law, and Art & Design

• Minimum Qualification: MS/M.Phil (First Class) in the relevant discipline or equivalent, awarded after 16 years of education by an HEC-recognized University/Institution.
• Experience: As per HEC rules (no third division in the academic career; if a third division exists at any stage, the candidate must have an overall first division in the higher degree—[illegible small clause]—and shall not be ineligible where allowed by HEC policy).

(ii) For Engineering, Information Technology, Computing Sciences, Law and Art & Design

• Minimum Qualification: MS/M.Phil (First Class) in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized University/Institution.
• Experience: As per HEC rules (first division in the terminal degree; additional provisions of HEC regarding professional/PEC/PCATP/PCATP-like councils apply where relevant — [illegible short phrase]).

Terms & Conditions

ii. Application Sets: Submit three (03) complete sets of the application (for each post) including CV, attested copies of educational certificates/degrees, CNIC, domicile, experience certificates, and three recent passport-size photographs affixed.

iii. Application Form: The prescribed application form is available on the GCWUF website (www.gcwuf.edu.pk — [URL readable]). Forms are also available at the Academic Branch (during working hours).

iv. Scrutiny: Information provided in the online/printed application will be treated as final. Any claim not supported by documents at scrutiny will not be entertained.

v. Experience Counting: Only post-qualification experience will be counted as per University/HEC rules. Previous teaching experience will be preferred where applicable.

vi. Right to Cancel: The University reserves the right to withhold/cancel the recruitment process without assigning any reason and/or not to fill any advertised post.

vii. Submission Window: Applications complete in all respects must reach the Registrar Office (Academic Branch), GCWUF on or before 09-10-2025 up to 02:00 PM.

viii. Call Letters / Schedule: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/demo. The schedule will be uploaded/communicated via the University website or by SMS/email ([mode line faint]). No TA/DA is admissible.

ix. In-Service Candidates: Applicants working in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel and submit NOC from the employer.

x. Equivalence/Test: Where NTS/GAT (Subject) or HEC equivalence is not available, the University may conduct its own test / seek HEC equivalence as per policy.

xi. Originals at Interview: Bring original documents at the time of interview for verification.

xii. General: Both Female and Male candidates are eligible to apply (visiting basis), subject to discipline-specific needs and University policies.
