University of Sargodha Jobs 2023 – Visiting Faculty Staff Required

As per the advertisement published in the Daily DAWN newspaper dated: August 13, 2023, the University of Sargodha (UOS) is inviting applications for the visiting faculty positions for the year 2023. hiring visiting faculty on per hourly basis for the Academic year 2023-2024 at the University of Sargodha, located in Sargodha Punjab, Pakistan.

How to apply?

• Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for a test or interview.
• The official application form is accessible on the University of Sargodha website: www.su.edu.pk.
• Those applying must fill out the application form, attach a complete CV, and provide attested copies of their credentials. Ensure you also attach two recent passport-sized photos to your application.
• If applying for multiple positions, submit a separate application for each. If selected for more than one, you’ll need to choose just one department.
• Candidates with foreign degrees should provide an equivalence certificate from the HEC.
• The application should include an original bank deposit slip/University Challan Form: Rs. 1000/- for Professor & Associate Professor roles and Rs. 500/- for other positions. Deposit this non-refundable fee in HBL A/C No. 00427991777803, University of Sargodha, under the “Collection” account head.
• If you’re currently employed in a Government/Semi-Government Department or Autonomous Body, ensure your application is sent through the proper channel by the deadline. Late submissions or those not sent through the proper channel won’t be considered.
• Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
• Current faculty members of the University of Sargodha can apply for part-time teaching roles. They don’t need to pay the application fee.
• Ensure all information in your application is accurate. False or incorrect information will lead to disqualification.
• The hiring arrangement lasts for one semester and can be extended based on performance and department needs, but not exceeding one academic year.
• Compensation is hourly, based on University-approved rates.
• The University may adjust the number of positions based on departmental needs and can choose not to fill or withdraw any advertised position without providing a reason.
• All hiring aligns with the University of Sargodha SOPs/Regulations for part-time extra teaching, as periodically updated.
