Eligibility Criteria
Only candidates havingSindh domicileare eligible to apply for theSMBBIT Postgraduate Training Program 2026-B. Applicants must possess the required academic qualification, relevant clinical training background, and valid professional documentation according to the selected program. ACPSP registration certificateis required where applicable. Candidates must also havePMDC / PMC valid registrationand the requiredMBBS / BDS degreeor equivalent qualification as per the program requirement. Candidates waiting for theirFCPS Part-I resultmay also apply; however, preference and final selection will be based on eligibility, merit, availability of seats, and institutional policy. Government employees must submit aNo Objection Certificate (NOC)from their department at the time of application or interview.
Important Instructions
Applicants can apply only for the training disciplines in whichtraining seats are available. Selection will be made on the basis ofrequired qualification, relevant experience, training suitability, merit, interview performance, and document verification. Applications submitted after the due date, incomplete applications, or applications without the required documents may not be entertained. Shortlisted candidates will be called for further process. The final list of selected candidates will be displayed on5 May 2026, and the orientation session for selected candidates will be held on12 May 2026atSMBB Institute of Trauma, Karachi.
How to Apply:
Interested candidates must submit their applications online through the official SMBBIT Postgraduate Medical Education portal athttps://pgme.smbbit.gos.pk. Applicants should carefully fill out the online form and upload or provide all required information according to the selected training program. Anon-refundable processing fee of Rs. 8,000must be deposited in the nominated bank branch. The originalbank challan / deposit slipis required and should be submitted as per the instructions given in the advertisement. Thelast date to submit the bank challan is 5 May 2026. After selection, original documents will be verified. Candidates must keep theireducational certificates, PMDC / PMC registration, CPSP documents, house job certificate, domicile, CNIC, experience certificates, NOC where applicable, and bank challanready for verification.
