✅ Eligibility & Role Highlights

Division of Cardiothoracic Sciences

• Sonographer / Junior Sonographer / Trainee (Paediatric Echo)
  • Perform transthoracic echocardiography, assist in stress/contrast studies where applicable, and maintain DICOM-based reporting standards.
  • Paediatric rotations expose trainees to congenital heart disease screening, functional assessments, and team-based care with cardiology and CT surgery. ✅
• Perfusionist
  • Operate heart-lung machines, manage perfusion parameters during cardiac surgery, and adhere to strict infection control and transfusion protocols.
• ECG/ETT Technician
  • Conduct 12-lead ECG, exercise tolerance tests, Holter application, and basic device checks; ensure patient preparation, safety, and trace quality.

Laboratory – Chemical Pathology

• Senior Lecturer (FCPS Chemical Pathology)
  • Teach trainees and technologists, oversee pre-analytical/analytical/post-analytical processes, participate in EQAS/IQC, and support consultative reporting.

Anaesthesia

• Consultant / Specialist / Senior RMO
  • Provide perioperative anaesthesia care, ICU/OT coverage, acute pain services, and resuscitation support.
  • Consultants lead protocols, audits, and resident teaching; Specialists and RMOs receive structured supervision and growth pathways.

Nuclear Medicine & PET-CT (Sukkur)

• Senior Technologist / Technologist
  • Radiopharmacy preparation, Tc-99m generator elution, hot-lab operations, gamma camera/PET-CT acquisitions, QC, and radiation safety.
• Nuclear Physician
  • Supervise imaging protocols, interpret studies, and support oncology boards; ensure compliance with PNRA and international best practices.
• Health Physicist
  • Dosimetry, shielding & exposure monitoring, calibration, and radiation protection training for staff.

Skill Lab

• BLS/ACLS Instructor
  • Deliver AHA-aligned courses (BLS/ACLS; PALS preferred), run megacode simulations, and certify clinical teams. 📘
