PIA Holding Company Limited (PIAHCL)—the public limited holding company for Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited (PIACL), PIA Investments Limited, Skyrooms (Private) Limited, and Sabre TN Pakistan (Private) Limited—is hiring experienced professionals to strengthen its Legal, Corporate Affairs & Compliance and Accounts & Finance functions. Positions range from General Manager and Deputy General Manager to Manager and Assistant Manager. These roles are Islamabad-based, offered on a performance-driven, KPI-focused fixed-term contract (with the potential to extend, subject to performance and organizational needs), and come with a market-competitive, merit-based package.

What you’ll do (by stream)

Legal, Corporate Affairs & Compliance

  • Provide high-quality legal opinions and manage litigation/engagement with external counsel.
  • Ensure statutory compliance and timely Board/Committee support (agendas, minutes, resolutions).
  • Maintain statutory registers, disclosures, insider lists, and governance documentation.
  • Design compliance frameworks, conduct risk assessments, and implement controls and policies.
  • Lead contract lifecycle (drafting, negotiation, repository) and regulatory submissions.
  • Build staff capability through training in ethics, governance, and compliance.

Accounts & Finance

  • Deliver IFRS-compliant financial statements and management reporting.
  • Lead budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, cost optimization, and cash flow planning.
  • Manage treasury operations (banking, funding lines, investments) and internal controls.
  • Strengthen audit readiness (external & internal), ensure tax compliance, and support Board committees (Audit/Risk).
  • Provide decision analytics to management for projects, subsidiaries, and corporate actions.

Who should apply (ideal profile)

✅ Strong academic background from HEC-recognized universities; for finance, professional certifications (CA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA/CFA/CMA) are valued.
✅ Demonstrated track record in large corporate or regulated environments; aviation/holding company exposure is a plus.
✅ Clear understanding of Companies Act 2017, SOE Act 2023, corporate governance codes, IFRS, and internal control frameworks.
✅ Excellent drafting, stakeholder engagement, and board communication skills for legal roles; strong analytical and systems capability for finance roles (ERP, consolidation tools, BI).
✅ High integrity, confidentiality, and the ability to deliver under deadlines in a performance-driven set-up.
