Pakistan Railway DAE Jobs 2024 (Civil/Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication Technology )

Railway Jobs 2024 across Pakistan are providing many opportunities for eligible candidates on a contract basis in different engineering and admin positions. The posts include Sub Engineers for Civil, Electrical, Signals, Telecoms and Mechanical where one needs to have done matric with science and at least three years of DAE. Also, they need Assistant Station Masters with BA/ B.Sc degree along with compulsory computer diploma course. Candidates should belong permanently to the given areas as well fulfill age limit and required qualification criteria. The Pakistan Railway positions and their respective qualifications are as follows:

1. Sub Engineer/Civil (Permanent Way/Works/Bridge):
   • Vacancies: Merit: 4, Punjab: 25, Sindh (Urban): 8, Sindh (Rural): 11, KPK: 8, Balochistan: 2, FATA: 1, AJK: 2, Gilgit-Baltistan: 1
   • Qualifications: Matriculation with Science (Second Division) and a 3-year Diploma of Associate Engineering in Civil Technology.
2. Sub Engineer/Drawing (D.O.E/B):
   • Vacancies: Merit: 1, Punjab: 4, Sindh (Urban): 1, Sindh (Rural): 1, KPK: 2, Balochistan: 1
   • Qualifications: Matriculation with Science (Second Division), a 3-year Diploma of Associate Engineering in Civil Technology, and a Diploma/Certificate in computerized drafting (AutoCAD or equivalent).
3. Sub Engineer/Electrical (BS-11) (Power/RTL/Electrical Diesel/ACM/JMR):
   • Vacancies: Merit: 5, Punjab: 32, Sindh (Urban): 5, Sindh (Rural): 6, KPK: 6, Balochistan: 3, FATA: 3, AJK: 2, Gilgit-Baltistan: 1
   • Qualifications: Matriculation with Science (Second Division) and a 3-year Diploma of Associate Engineering in Electrical/Electronics Technology.
4. Sub Engineer/Signals (BS-11):

   • Qualifications: Matriculation with Science (Second Division) and a 3-year Diploma of Associate Engineering in Mechanical Technology.
7. Sub Engineer/Mechanical (BS-11) Workshop Trade:
   • Vacancies: Merit: 3, Punjab: 20, Sindh (Urban): 3, Sindh (Rural): 4, KPK: 4, Balochistan: 2, FATA: 1, AJK: 1, Gilgit-Baltistan: 1
   • Qualifications: Matriculation with Science (Second Division) and a 3-year Diploma of Associate Engineering in Mechanical Technology, or a 3-year DAE in Mechanical Technology with specialization in areas such as Precision/Instrument, Metallurgy & Welding, Furniture Design, Chemical, Petro-Chemical, etc.
8. Assistant Station Master/Gr-I (BS-14):
   • Vacancies: Peshawar: 12, Rawalpindi: 10, Lahore: 14, Multan: 11, Sukkur: 114, Quetta: 7, Karachi: 57
   • Qualifications: BA/B.Sc. (Second Division) or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institution with a six-month mandatory computer course.

General Instructions

The applicants should belong to the respective district and tehsil of their residence against the post applied for. For Asstt. Station Master, this applies to Civil Districts & Tehsils falling within the jurisdiction of concerned Railway/ Division. Detailed information in this regard is available on Pakistan Railways official website i.e. www.pakrail.gov.pk.

The Quota for Open Merit is 58%, for children of Railway employees (2% out of 10% quota) for orphans or destitute (5%), for ex-servicemen (10%), for minorities/non-Muslims (5%) and for disabled persons (2%).

Pakistan Railway (Pak Rail) Job Application Process 2024:

• Applications form can be downloaded from Pakistan Railways official website (www.pakrail.gov.pk) along with attested copies of educational certificates, domicile certificate, CNIC and two passport size recent photographs should reach office of the Chief Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office, Empress Road, Lahore through registered mail / courier by closing date i.e., 28-08-2024 till 5:00 PM.
• Incomplete applications or those containing wrong information will not be entertained . No TA / DA is admissible for test/interview.
