Pakistan Railway Jobs 2023 | DAE Mechanical Opportunity at PR Headquarters Lahore
Pakistan Railway Contract basis opportunities for the supervision positions. The main office of **Pakistan Railways in Lahore** is looking for applications. They want people who have already retired to come back and work for them. These retired individuals should be from the **Carriage & Wagon Department** or the **Mechanical Loco Department**. If selected, they will work on a contract for **one year**.
AGE LIMIT:–
Maximum age limit shall be 60 years.
Contract Appointment Terms & Conditions at Pakistan Railways, Lahore:
Eligibility & Criteria:
- Only individuals experienced in the mentioned categories can apply.
- Salary: BS-06 to BS-14, based on the last pay drawn. This includes standard allowances as per contract rules, but excludes gratuity and pension benefits.
- Contract Duration: 1 year (can be extended by another year if needed).
- Contract extensions or post changes can be made without giving any reasons.
- Applicants must pass a medical exam only at the Pakistan Railways Hospital.
- Individuals who were forced to retire, removed, dismissed, or retired due to medical issues are not eligible.
- Only those eligible for contract appointments will receive a call letter.
- No travel or daily allowance will be provided for interviews or medical tests.
- Selected individuals can be posted anywhere in the Railway System.

- Railway Retired ID or Experience Certificate.
- Photocopies of PPO & LPC.
- Service Certificate.
- Three recent passport-size photos.
