Directorate General Ports & Shipping, Karachi is looking for a Chief Nautical Surveyor Position. These Ministry of Maritime Affairs Jobs are Government sector vacancies that remain for the duration of 3 years (Extendable up to 2 years based on the individual’s performance analyzed by the Performance Evaluation Committee).
Table of Contents
B.Sc. in Maritime Studies or at least 3 years of command experience in foreign ships and a Valid Certificate of Competency as Master of Foreign Going Ships are required as a qualification.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nautical Surveyor in a Mercantile Marine Department of any country
OR
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Surveyor in a recognized Classification Society (IACS) or in a sub-contracted company of such society
OR
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Nautical Examiner of Master and Mates in a Marine Academy/College/University in Australia, Singapore, or the United Kingdom.
Necessary Details Regarding Application:
Submit a complete CV, attested copies of testimonials, and three passport-sized photographs to mentioned below address before the due date. Government/Semi-Government Bodies are requested to submit NOC from their current department as well.
