🚢  Principal Officer, Chief Engineer & Ship Surveyor, Engineer & Ship Surveyor – Ministry of Maritime Affairs Jobs 2025

The Ministry of Maritime Affairs is looking for senior marine engineers to fill three contract posts in Karachi: Principal Officer, Chief Engineer & Ship Surveyor, and Engineer & Ship Surveyor. All three roles sit under the MP Scale and call for a valid First-Class Engineer or Master of Foreign-Going Ships certificate plus two to three years of hands-on time as a chief engineer, ship master, or surveyor. Ideal applicants have also worked as examiners of engineers or masters. The age cap is 62 years. Successful candidates will inspect vessels, check crew papers, and keep Pakistan’s shipping standards in line with international rules.
