Ministry of Federal Education Corrigendum Notice

Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training (Daanish Wing) has announced job opportunities for Daanish School Kuri, Islamabad. The main vacancy announcement was issued for teaching staff, while a latest corrigendum has also been issued for selected non-essential / non-teaching posts. The teaching staff vacancies are available in DS-16 with one additional pay, and the posts include subject teachers for Mathematics, English, Urdu, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Islamiyat, Social Studies, General Science, Computer Science, Fine Arts, Geography and Montessori / General Teacher. These posts are initially offered on a three-year contract, extendable on satisfactory performance.

Latest Update – Corrigendum Details

The Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training has issued a corrigendum regarding advertisement PID(I)9133/25 dated 13 May 2026 for appointment of non-essential employees for Daanish School Kuri, Islamabad. The corrigendum amends the eligibility criteria for the following posts:

Khateeb / Pesh Imam, Khadim / Moazzan, Qari / Qaria

The updated eligibility criteria for these posts is as follows:

Candidates from all Wafaqs / Boards and individual degree-awarding institutions whose M.A. Islamic Studies and M.A. Arabic degrees are recognized by HEC will be eligible. Candidates having a Certificate of Qirrat from any Wafaq / Board or individual degree-awarding institution recognized by HEC will also be considered eligible. Hafiz-e-Quran candidates will be preferred.

Teaching Posts Eligibility Criteria

Mathematics Teacher

Candidates must have 16 years of education, such as Master’s degree, BS, BSc Hons or BA Hons in Mathematics with minimum second division. Where CGPA is mentioned, 2.50 CGPA out of 4 or 3.50 CGPA out of 5 will be acceptable from an HEC-recognized institution. M.Ed or B.Ed will be given preference. Good English communication skills are required.

English Teacher

Applicants must have 16 years of education in English Language, English Literature, TEFL, TEIL or TESOL with minimum second division. Strong command of English grammar, composition, written expression, verbal communication, pronunciation and literary understanding will be valuable. M.Ed or B.Ed will be an added advantage.

Urdu Teacher

Candidates should have 16 years of education in Urdu with minimum second division. Sound knowledge of Urdu grammar and composition is required. Strong Urdu writing, verbal communication, creative writing ability and command over literary genres will be preferred. M.Ed or B.Ed will be an advantage.

Chemistry Teacher

Applicants must have 16 years of education in Chemistry or Biochemistry with minimum second division. M.Ed or B.Ed qualification will be preferred. Candidates should also have good English communication skills.

Physics Teacher

Candidates must have 16 years of education in Physics with minimum second division. Applicants with M.Ed or B.Ed will be given preference. Good English communication skills are required.

Biology Teacher

Applicants must have 16 years of education in Biology or Biological Sciences with minimum second division. M.Ed or B.Ed will be an advantage. Good English communication skills are also required.

Islamiyat Teacher

Candidates must have 16 years of education in Islamiyat, Islamic Studies, Shahadat ul Alamia from Wafaq ul Madaris or Tanzeem ul Madaris with minimum second division. Courses in Islamiyat and Arabic will be preferred. M.Ed or B.Ed will be given due advantage.

Social Studies Teacher

Applicants should have 16 years of education in History, Social Studies, Pakistan Studies, International Relations or Political Science with minimum second division. M.Ed or B.Ed will be preferred. Good English communication skills are required.

General Science Teacher

Candidates must have 16 years of education in Biology, Physics or Chemistry with minimum second division. M.Ed or B.Ed will be an added advantage. Good English communication skills are required.

Computer Science Teacher

Applicants must have 16 years of education in Computer Sciences, M.Sc. Software Engineering or MCS IT with minimum second division. M.Ed or B.Ed will be preferred. Candidates should also have good English communication skills.

Fine Arts Teacher

Candidates must have 16 years of education in Fine Arts with minimum second division. Good English communication skills and subject command are required.

Geography Teacher

Applicants must have 16 years of education in Geography with minimum second division. M.Ed or B.Ed will be an added advantage. Good English communication skills are required.

Montessori Teacher / General Teacher

Candidates must have 16 years of education with minimum second division. Montessori Training Diploma or Certificate will be given preference. Good English communication skills are required.

Updated Eligibility for Corrigendum Posts

Qari / Qaria

Candidates having recognized M.A. Islamic Studies / M.A. Arabic degree or Certificate of Qirrat from an HEC-recognized Wafaq / Board or institution can apply. Hafiz-e-Quran candidates will be given preference.
