Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Defence Production, Directorate General Research & Development Establishment DGRDE has announced new government vacancies for Pakistani nationals. These jobs are available in the erstwhile MVRDE, ARDE and IOP, now working under DGRDE, Rawalpindi.

The latest advertisement includes 23 vacancies from BPS-01 to BPS-15. Candidates with Primary, Matric, Intermediate, Graduation, FSc, DAE, technical diplomas and relevant trade experience can apply according to the eligibility criteria of each post.

Vacancies in MVRDE Now DGRDE

1. AFM – BPS-14

There is 1 vacancy for AFM under Sindh Rural Merit quota. Candidates must have a Diploma of Associate Engineer of three years or more from a technical training or polytechnic institute in Mechanical, Electrical, Machine Shop, Metallurgy, Automobile, Draughting and Design Production or any required technology. Two years of practical experience in the relevant technology is required.

Ex-JCO candidates may also apply if they are qualified in Arms Artificer Course with four years of practical experience as JCO in the relevant trade.

2. LDC – BPS-11

The post of Lower Division Clerk is available under Sindh Urban Women quota. Candidates must have Matric, minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute, and will be required to complete a 3-week Basic IT Training Course, including MS Office, conducted by NITB during probation after selection.

3. D/Man B – BPS-07

For D/Man B, applicants should have a Post-Matric Certificate of one year in Draughting or Mechanical Draughtsmanship, or an equivalent qualification. Candidates having a Basic D/Man course from any military organization may also apply.

4. Gate Keeper – BPS-07

This post is for Ex-Army JCO candidates. Required qualification is Matric or Army Education Corps first class and second class English, or equivalent qualification. The age limit is 40 to 50 years.

5. Naib Qasid – BPS-01

For Naib Qasid, the applicant must be literate and able to read and write. This post is available on ordinarily local basis and has no age limit according to the advertisement.

Vacancies in ARDE Now DGRDE

6. Assistant – BPS-15

Candidates applying for Assistant must be Graduate. A 6-week Basic IT Training Course, including MS Office conducted by NITB, will be required during probation after selection.

7. UDC – BPS-13

For UDC, candidates must have Intermediate qualification. Selected candidates will complete a 3-week Basic IT Training Course, including MS Office, during probation.

8. D.Man A – BPS-11

Applicants must have a Post-Matric Diploma of Associate Engineer of three years or more with specialization in Mechanical Draughtsmanship, Drafting and Designing.

Candidates with Matric and a certificate in Mechanical Draughtsmanship may also apply if they have 5 years of experience in draughting and designing in a government establishment or a reputable firm.

9. HS-II Machinist / Computer Tech – BPS-06

There are 2 vacancies: one for Punjab Merit and one for Punjab Women. Preference will be given to Matric candidates having 3 years of experience in the relevant trade. Candidates should also be able to understand simple drawings.

Ex-Army personnel qualified class-II in any trade of EME with two years of practical experience may also apply.

10. Supervisor Upper Grade – BPS-15

This post is available under Balochistan Merit quota. Candidates must be Associate Engineer from a recognized institute in Radio Electronics, TV, Electrical, Optical or Production Technology with at least 4 years of post-diploma experience in the relevant field.

11. Research Assistant-I – BPS-15

For Research Assistant-I, candidates should have B.Sc with Physics as one of the major subjects and at least 4 years of lab experience in Physics, Radio Electronics, TV or Applied Optics.

Associate Engineers in Radio Electronics, TV, Electrical or Applied Optics with minimum 4 years of relevant experience may also apply. Equivalent qualifications from a government-recognized agency with relevant experience are also acceptable.

12. Assistant – BPS-15

Applicants must be Graduate and will complete a 6-week Basic IT Training Course, including MS Office, conducted by NITB during probation after selection.

13. LDC – BPS-11

For LDC, candidates must have Matric, minimum typing speed of 30 WPM, and a 3-week Basic IT Training Course, including MS Office, conducted by NITB during probation after selection.

14. SPT – BPS-09

There are 3 vacancies for SPT: two under Punjab Merit and one under FATA Merit. Candidates must have FSc with 2 years of experience in Production Technology.

15. Junior Production Technician – BPS-05

Candidates must have Matric, preferably with science. This post is available on ordinarily local basis.

16. Lab Attendant – BPS-05

For Lab Attendant, candidates must have Matric with Science.

17. Workshop Attendant – BPS-05

Workshop Attendant applicants must have Matric with Science.

18. Civil Driver – BPS-04

Civil Driver applicants must be Primary Pass with a valid driving license. Candidates should also be well aware of traffic rules. There are 2 vacancies on ordinarily local basis.

19. Mali – BPS-01

For Mali, candidates should be familiar with garden work and garden practice.

Important Terms and Conditions

Government servants must apply through proper channel and produce NOC at the time of test or interview. Candidates must ensure that they are eligible in all respects before appearing in examination or test.

No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in test or interview. Applicants must bring original academic documents, domicile, experience certificate and discharge book where applicable. Discharge book is required for Army persons only.

After scrutiny of online applications through NJP, only eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for test or interview. The test center may be at Rawalpindi or Karachi according to the requirement of the organization.
