The Local Government, Elections, and Rural Development Department seeks motivated and capable individuals from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa/Merged Areas to join our team contractually. Available Positions

1. Senior Finance Officer
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Qualification & Experience: Professional accounting qualification (CA/ACCA/CPA) or a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Finance) or M.Com, or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university. At least 7 years of financial management or Audit & Accounts management experience, including 2 years as a Finance Specialist or similar role.
   • Age Limit: Up to 45 years
2. Lead IT Specialist
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Qualification & Experience: BS (4 Years) in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a Master’s in Computer Science from an HEC-recognized university. At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology and Management. Experience with aid agencies is desired.
   • Age Limit: Up to 45 years
3. Senior Capacity Development Officer
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Qualification & Experience: Master’s Degree in Social Sciences/Social Work from an HEC-recognized university. At least 7 years’ experience in planning and implementation of capacity development projects/training projects.
   • Age Limit: Up to 40 years
4. Senior MIS Officer
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Qualification & Experience: BS (4 Years) in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a Master’s in Computer Science from an HEC-recognized university. At least 5 years of related work experience in programming, website, database, and application development.
   • Age Limit: Up to 40 years
5. Environmental & Social Specialist
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Qualification & Experience: Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Economics, or a Bachelor of Engineering or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Administration, Political Science, Agricultural Sciences, Anthropology, or other relevant qualifications from an HEC-recognized university. At least 5 years of related work experience.
   • Age Limit: Up to 40 years
6. Capacity Development Officer
   • Number of Posts: 04
   • Qualification & Experience: Master’s Degree in Social Sciences/Social Work from an HEC-recognized university. At least 5 years experience in planning and implementation of capacity development projects/training projects.
   • Age Limit: Up to 35 years
7. Database Officer
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Qualification & Experience: BS (4 Years) in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a Master’s in Computer Science from an HEC-recognized university. At least 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
   • Age Limit: Up to 35 years
8. Database Developer
   • Number of Posts: 03
   • Qualification & Experience: BS (4 Years) in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Computer Science or a Master’s in Computer Science from an HEC recognized university. At least 3 years of experience in Database Management, IT management, programming software, and computer networks.
   • Age Limit: Up to 35 years
9. MIS Officer
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Qualification & Experience: BS (4 Years) in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a Master’s in Computer Science from an HEC-recognized university. At least 3 years of experience in IT management, programming software, and computer networks.
   • Age Limit: Up to 35 years

Terms & Conditions

1. Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test. Detailed scrutiny will be carried out by the appointing authority, and candidates found ineligible at any stage will be disqualified.
2. Candidates must create a profile on ETEA’s website and verify their CNIC No. from any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise before applying.
3. Detailed terms of reference, qualifications, and experience requirements for each post are available on the official website of the Local Government, Elections, and Rural Development Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
4. Appointments will be made under the project policy of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Employment is subject to project duration and satisfactory performance.
5. Only shortlisted candidates will be issued interview call letters.
6. Incomplete applications and those received after the due date will not be entertained.
7. Candidates applying for multiple posts must apply separately for each post with a separate fee.
8. Experience from reputable organizations will only be accepted.
9. The competent authority reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of vacancies or cancel/reject any application without reason.
10. No TA/DA will be admissible for tests/interviews.
11. Equivalent certificates from HEC must be provided for foreign degrees.

How to Apply

1. Visit ETEA’s website to apply online.
2. After successful online application submission, project code and personal information will be generated.
3. Print the deposit slip and pay the non-refundable test fee through Easypaisa, Jazz Cash, or any UBL Bank branch.
4. Keep the original deposit slip for future reference.
5. Do not send documents/testimonials to ETEA. These will be required later for candidates who qualify for the screening test.
6. Last date for submission of online application is 21st June 2024.
7. Candidates will receive SMS notifications from ETEA to download and print their Roll No. Slips.
8. The Roll No will mention the test date, time, and venue. Slip.
