Key Responsibilities (Role-wise Highlights)

Manager Emergency Department / Assistant Manager A&E

  • Oversee triage, patient-flow, and fast-track bays; implement time-to-treatment benchmarks.
  • Coordinate staffing rosters, ambulance handover areas, and disaster/Code Black drills.
  • Monitor consumables and critical stocks with Materials and Pharmacy.
  • Lead incident reporting, customer care, and inter-departmental escalation.

Manager Bio-Medical Services

  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance of medical devices (imaging, anesthesia, ICU/ventilators, monitors).
  • Develop PM schedules, calibration plans, and vendor SLAs; ensure 24/7 uptime for life-saving equipment.
  • Maintain asset registry/CMMS, decommissioning protocols, and user-training for safe operation.

Material Management Officer / Purchase Assistant

  • Run RFQs/RFPs per institutional policy; negotiate lead times and warranty cover.
  • Maintain reorder points, ABC/FSN analysis, and coordinate with Finance for GRN/three-way match.
  • Ensure cold-chain and sterile-store compliance where applicable.

Finance Assistant

  • Support receivables, payables, petty cash, monthly closes, and audit schedules.
  • Prepare spreadsheets, bank reconciliations, and assist in ERP posting.

Ward Clerk

  • Manage admissions/discharges/transfer paperwork; update EMR; maintain files; fast, error-free 30 wpm typing; MS Office documentation.

Technologists & Trades (Cardiology, GI, Radiology, Generator, Line Man, Lift Mechanic)

  • Perform modality-specific procedures (ECG, echo support, endoscopy assistance, imaging room support) under SOPs.
  • Keep daily logs, sterilization/QA records; promptly report breakdowns; comply with radiation and electrical safety.
  • For trades: perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot HT/LT lines, lifts, and generators; comply with permit-to-work and lockout/tagout.
