🎯 Role Expectations (What PMS Officers Do)
- Governance & Service Delivery: Manage tehsil/district level functions, coordinate with police, health, education, and municipal bodies to improve citizen services.
- Regulatory & Revenue Work: Support land revenue administration, price control, relief operations, elections logistics, and disaster management.
- Policy & Projects: Prepare notes, PC-I/PC-II inputs, analyze development proposals, track KPIs, and drive reforms in assigned departments.
- Public Engagement: Conduct khuli kachehri-style forums, handle petitions, RTI requests, and ensure grievance redressal.
- Integrity & Compliance: Uphold ethics, transparency, and financial discipline, implement audits and directives of the provincial government.
✅ Eligibility & Age Relaxations
- Base age: 21–30 years (on 01-01-2026).
- Two years’ optimum relaxation in upper age is allowed to:
- Government servants with minimum two years’ continuous service,
- Persons with disabilities,
- Candidates from backward areas (as notified).
- Special one-time policy (per Govt. decision): For PMS exams scheduled in 2025 & 2026, the upper age limit has been enhanced from 30 to 35 years as a general relaxation, and the number of attempts is enhanced from 3 to 4 as a one-time measure (see official notice referenced in the ad).
- Attempts counting: Appearing in the written exam counts as one chance. Grace marks are not admissible.
