KPPSC invites online applications for 13 posts of Provincial Planning Service Officer (BPS-17) in the Planning & Development Department—KP domicile is mandatory and the portal closes 15 September 2025, 5:00 PM. Eligible candidates are 21–30 years on 01-01-2025 (relaxation per rules) with at least second-division, 16 years of education in relevant areas: economics or development studies; statistics, business/management/commerce; computer science/IT; environmental or disaster management; agriculture; civil/electrical/mechanical/transport/mining/agriculture/industrial engineering; urban & regional/town/public-health engineering—or equivalent. Selection is through a competitive exam (syllabus on the KPPSC site; three attempts per post, four for combined competitive).

Seats are distributed by zone with special quotas—Women (3), Minority (1), Disabled (1)—and only online submissions at www.kppsc.gov.pk are accepted.

General Conditions & Age Relaxation

• Age Reckoning Date: 01 January 2025
• Upper Age Relaxation:
  • Up to 10 years for disabled persons, widows, and government servants with continuous service.
  • Up to 3 years for candidates belonging to backward areas.
  • Up to 5 years for minority candidates.
  • Special relaxation for employees/ex-employees of KPK government development projects (up to 10 years, depending on service).
