Eligible candidates are 21–30 years on 01-01- (relaxation per rules) with at least second-division, 16 years of education in relevant areas: economics or development studies; statistics, business/management/commerce; computer science/IT; environmental or disaster management; agriculture; civil/electrical/mechanical/transport/mining/agriculture/industrial engineering; urban & regional/town/public-health engineering—or equivalent. Selection is through a competitive exam (syllabus on the KPPSC site; three attempts per post, four for combined competitive).

General Conditions & Age Relaxation
- Age Reckoning Date: 01 January
- Upper Age Relaxation:
- Up to 10 years for disabled persons, widows, and government servants with continuous service.
- Up to 3 years for candidates belonging to backward areas.
- Up to 5 years for minority candidates.
- Special relaxation for employees/ex-employees of KPK government development projects (up to 10 years, depending on service).
