What you will do (role snapshots)

DM (Tax & Costing)

  • Prepare and file monthly/annual tax returns (income tax, sales tax), reconcile ledgers, and respond to tax notices.
  • Coordinate with tax authorities, auditors, and external consultants; manage audits and tax assessments professionally.
  • Lead product and project costing, including variance analysis, budget monitoring, and import/store costing to support pricing and commercial decisions.
  • Maintain accurate tax registers, withholding tax compliance, and input/output tax reconciliations.
  • Generate management reports for CFO/Head of Finance with clear insights and recommendations.

What success looks like: zero penalties, timely filings, defensible audit trails, and decision-grade costing that improves margins and budget control.


Technical Assistant (QC-Hull)

  • Inspect steel fabrication, fit-up, alignment, and welding as per WPS/PQR, class rules, and project specifications.
  • Check materials traceability, WQT/WPQ records, and consumables control; verify preheat/interpass temperatures.
  • Raise and close IRs/NCRs, maintain QA/QC logs, and support welding inspectors and QC engineers during trials.
  • Coordinate with production, NDT, and planning to remove bottlenecks while protecting quality.

What success looks like: minimal rework, first-time-right welds, and timely clearance for next stage (painting/outfitting).


Technical Assistant (QC-NDT)

  • Perform or witness RT, UT, and DPT as per approved procedures; ensure calibration and technique sheets are current.
  • Interpret indications, categorize defects (porosity, slag inclusion, lack of fusion), and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare NDT reports, mark repair zones, and coordinate with welding teams for remedial work.
  • Uphold class and project standards with meticulous documentation for surveys and delivery dossiers.
