The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD), Government of Sindh, has announced Junior School Teacher (BPS-14) jobs in Sindh government for qualified graduates with a background in Special Education. Eligibility Criteria ✅

a. Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
  • B.Ed in Special Education (at least Second Division) is mandatory.
  • Any additional diploma or certification in special or inclusive education will be considered an added advantage during evaluation.

b. STS General Screening Test Requirement

  • Applicants must have passed the Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS) General Screening Test for Graduation/Intermediate category.
  • Minimum 40% marks are required.
  • Candidates must possess the official STS certificate, issued by Sukkur IBA Testing Services, at the time of application and at the time of interview.

c. Age Limit 📅

  • Minimum age: 21 years
  • Maximum age: 28 years on the closing date of applications.
  • Upper age relaxation will be admissible as per Rule-7 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules and the latest Notification of the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department (SGA&CD).
  • Generally, up to five (05) years of relaxation may be available, subject to government policy at the time of appointment.

d. Domicile & PRC

  • Applicant must hold domicile and PRC of the relevant division/district of Sindh where the vacancy is advertised (Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana).
  • Only candidates having permanent residence in the concerned division will be considered for posts of that division.

e. Quota Policy

  • Women, minorities and persons with disabilities will be accommodated as per the quota reserved under the Government of Sindh rules.
  • Candidates claiming a disability quota should hold a valid disability certificate issued by the competent authority.

f. Government Servants / In-Service Candidates

  • Candidates already serving in any government department or autonomous body must apply through proper channel.
  • They must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current department prior to submission of the online application and present the original NOC at the time of interview.

Working Locations & Environment 🌍

Successful candidates will be posted in government special education institutions within one of the following divisions of Sindh:

  • Hyderabad Division

  • Shaheed Benazirabad Division
  • Larkana Division

Within these divisions, postings may be at different districts or towns depending on the availability of vacancies and administrative needs. Teachers are expected to serve at their assigned location and follow all transfer/rotation policies of the Government of Sindh.
