Pakistan Air Force is taking online applications from 2 to 7 July 2025 for its 135 Combat Support Course, which commissions male doctors as Flight Lieutenants in the Medical Branch. Three tracks are open. The Specialist cadre accepts physicians aged 25-54 who hold an MBBS plus FCPS, FRCS, MRCP, or Diplomate American Board in Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, or Anaesthesia. The GDMO route seeks MBBS graduates aged 25-33 with a second-division degree and a one-year house job; the GDDO route mirrors these requirements for BDS dentists. All entrants complete 24 weeks of training before joining active PAF service with full pay and benefits.

The selection sequence begins with web registration at www.joinpaf.gov.pk, followed by subject-area tests, an initial medical at PAF centres, and a physical check (1-mile run in eight minutes, 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, two chin-ups). Short-listed candidates then sit a psychological assessment, board interview, and final medical at CMB Lahore before a merit-based decision at Air Headquarters, Islamabad. 1. Medical Branch (Specialist) – SPSSC

• Age: 25 to 54 years (as on 15 October 2025)
• Rank: Flight Lieutenant
• Training Duration: 24 weeks
• Qualification: MBBS + specialization (FCPS / FRCS / MRCP / Diplomat American Board or equivalent)
• Required Fields:
  • Medicine Specialist
  • ENT Specialist
  • Eye Specialist
  • Psychiatrist
  • Anesthetist
• Note: Those holding FCPS–1 or MCPS only are not eligible.

2. Medical Branch (GDMOs) – SPSSC

• Age: 25 to 33 years (as on 15 October 2025)
• Rank: Flight Lieutenant
• Training Duration: 24 weeks
• Qualification: MBBS (minimum 2nd Division) + one-year house job from PM&DC-recognized hospital
• Preference: Candidates with relevant field experience after house job

3. Medical Branch (GDDOs) – SPSSC

• Age: 25 to 33 years (as on 15 October 2025)
• Rank: Flight Lieutenant
• Training Duration: 24 weeks
• Qualification: BDS (minimum 2nd Division) + one-year house job from PM&DC-recognized hospital
• Preference: Experience in relevant field post-house job
