Gwadar Safe City Project has announced PMU Staff Interview dates for provisionally shortlisted applicants who earlier applied against multiple contract roles: Legal Advisor, Civil Engineer, Software Engineer, Network Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Radio Communication Engineer, Admin Officer, Account Officer, and In-Charge Command & Control—one post each. Interviews will be held 📅 16–17 February 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Office of the Secretary, Science & IT Department, Room 7, Block 14, 1st Floor, Civil Secretariat, Zarghoon Road, in Quetta, with a remote option via Google Meet for out-of-station or overseas candidates.

Role-Wise Focus Areas (What Interviewers Commonly Assess)

Legal Advisor (PPS-07)

• Command over contract drafting, procurement and consultancy agreements, compliance with provincial/federal laws, and dispute resolution.

Civil Engineer (PPS-07)

• Urban infrastructure for surveillance backbones: pole foundations, ducting, trenching, gantries, equipment rooms, and right-of-way coordination.
• QA/QC of works, BoQs, drawings, and contractor oversight; safety and environmental compliance.

Software Engineer (PPS-07)

• Enterprise applications that integrate command-and-control, incident logs, and analytics.

Network Engineer (PPS-07)

• L2/L3 design for large-scale camera networks, PoE switching, uplinks, fiber rings, VLANs, QoS, and failover.

Admin Officer (PPS-06)

• PMU office management, records, inventory, HR assistance, meeting minutes, and vendor coordination.
• Command on government correspondence formats and file movement.

Account Officer (PPS-06)

• Budgeting, payments, audit readiness, tax deductions, and reconciliations aligned with public-sector financial rules.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets/ERP and voucher cycles.

In-Charge Command & Control (PPS-06)

• Operations oversight of the Command & Control Centre, shift rosters, incident escalation, and SLA tracking.

A) For In-Person Candidates (Quetta) ✅

1. Confirm your name on the provisionally shortlisted list uploaded on the official portal of the Government of Balochistan.
2. Note your slot:
   • Engineers & Legal Advisor — Mon, 16 Feb 2026, 10:00 a.m.
   • Admin/Account/C&C — Tue, 17 Feb 2026, 10:00 a.m.
3. Reach 30–40 minutes early at Science & IT Department, Civil Secretariat, Zarghoon Road, Quetta (Room 7, Block 14, 1st Floor) to clear gate/security and document scrutiny.
4. Carry originals + attested copies + 2 photographs (see checklist above).
5. Dress professionally; keep your phone on silent after entry.
6. Follow signages to the designated waiting area and submit your documents to the verification desk.

B) For Remote Candidates (Outside City/Country) 🌐

1. Check the interview list to ensure you are shortlisted.
2. Test your device (camera/mic) and internet at least a day before; use a quiet, well-lit room.
3. Join via the official Google Meet link mentioned in your invitation notice at least 10 minutes before time.
4. Keep soft copies (PDF scans) of CNIC, degrees, and experience letters ready to share on request; the verification team may also ask follow-up questions to validate originals later.
5. Rename your display to “Full Name – Post” for easy roll-call, e.g., “Sara Khan – Network Engineer”.
