🌾 Field Assistant – Job Summary

The Directorate General Agriculture Extension Sindh Hyderabad, on behalf of the Agriculture Department, Government of Sindh, is accepting applications from eligible candidates across Sindh for the role of Field Assistant (BS-11). This is a large-scale hiring drive aimed at strengthening agriculture extension services across the province to support farmers and enhance productivity at the grassroots level.

Field Assistants will be responsible for assisting agricultural officers, conducting field visits, supporting data collection, and providing on-ground advisory services to farmers. The role is a vital part of Sindh’s agricultural outreach and aims to modernize farming practices through education and extension support.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications (any one of the following):

• A graduate degree in Agriculture (Second Division) from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC)
  OR
• Matriculation (at least “C” grade) with 2 years Field Assistant Course from a recognized Agricultural Training Institute and a 2-year diploma from a recognized Board of Education

Domicile:

• Must be domiciled in Sindh Province

• Candidates already involved in petitions (per High Court orders) need not reapply but must appear for the screening test.
• The screening test passing marks are set at 40%.
• Age relaxation will be applied per Government of Sindh rules.

• No TA/DA will be provided for test or interview attendance.
