Eligibility Criteria ✅
Education
- Inspector Forests requires fourteen years of education (2nd Division) from an HEC recognized university, plus SSC (2nd Division) with Science from a recognized board.
- Forest Ranger requires HSSC (Second division) plus SSC (2nd Division) with Science from a recognized board.
Age
- Inspector Forests: 20 to 25 years
- Forest Ranger: 18 to 25 years
- General age relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as notified, for male plus 5 years and for female plus 8 years up to the last date of submission of applications.
Domicile / Quota
- Punjab domicile is required.
- Quotas are specified separately for Open Merit, Women, and Minority for each post.
- Merit will be calculated on Forest Division basis.
Physical / Medical Standards
- Candidates must meet the height, chest (where applicable), eyesight, and running standards listed for each post.

- After online submission, take a print of the submitted application.
- Attach attested copies of all relevant documents with the printed application.
- Submit the hard copy to the concerned offices (addresses are provided in the division wise section) before the closing date.
- Clearly mention the name of the post on the online application and on the envelope containing the hard copy.
- If applying for more than one post in different Forest Divisions, submit separate online applications and separate attested hard copies for each post and division.
- Government employees and employees of autonomous or semi government entities should apply through proper channel with the required No Objection Certificate.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting will be done according to the criteria and departmental process.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for physical test and interview.
- Shortlisted candidates may be informed through SMS, email, or call.
- The selected candidates will have to undergo training as prescribed under the rules and policy of the department.

Important Instructions / Terms
- Only candidates domiciled in Punjab are eligible.

- CGPA is not acceptable for test or interview submission.
- Recruitment is Forest Division specific and strictly in accordance with the standing law, rules, policy, and instructions of the department.
- No TA or DA will be admissible for test or interview.
- The competent authority may change the recruitment at any time without prior notice.
- Any representation against physical test or interview may be submitted to the Grievance Redressal Cell constituted at Administrative Department, Forestry and Wildlife Department at 10 B Ravi Road Lahore within three days, whose decision shall be final.
