The Defence Export Promotion Organization (DEPO), working under the Ministry of Defence Production, Government of Pakistan, is building a high-performance Project Management Team and is inviting applications for multiple professional roles on a one-year contractual basis (extendable annually based on performance and project milestones). The announced positions include: Marketing Manager / Executive, IT Specialist (Digital Systems & AI / Website Management), Legal Specialist (Contract Management), Financial Specialist (Mega Project Management), Technical Construction Specialist (Planning & Execution), and Trade Specialist. These jobs are based in Islamabad at the Defence Complex and offer market-based, negotiable compensation according to qualifications and experience. The main hiring focus for these DEPO jobs is on senior professionals with strong backgrounds in marketing, IT systems, AI-driven transformation, contract management, PPP/infrastructure law, mega project finance, civil engineering and infrastructure execution, and international trade compliance.
These are targeted project-based positions and do not grant permanent employment status with DEPO or any other government body. | 2 | IT Specialist (Digital Systems & AI / Website Management) | Bachelor’s / Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, and/or a relevant discipline, with 5–8 years of experience in IT systems development, event / hospitality software, or digital transformation. Knowledge of AI-based analytics or automation tools will be considered an advantage. |
| 3 | Legal Specialist (Contract Management) | LLB (mandatory). LLM or specialization in Commercial, Corporate, or PPP Law preferred. Minimum 7–10 years of experience in contract management, procurement, or PPP / infrastructure projects. Strong command of contractual risk management and compliance is essential. |
| 4 | Financial Specialist (Mega Project Management) | CA, CFA, ICMA, ACCA, or Master’s in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline, with 7–10 years of experience in financial modelling, PPP transaction structuring, or project finance. Expertise in funding structures and financial risk assessment for large-scale programmes is expected. |

General Terms for All Positions
✅ Age Limit:
Maximum age for all positions is 50 years.
✅ Educational Attestation:
All educational certifications must be verifiable and subject to certification from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) if required.
✅ Compensation:
Market-based, negotiable salary packages will be offered according to the candidate’s qualifications and experience. The organization is seeking experienced professionals who can deliver outcomes in a high-value, time-bound national programme.
✅ Nature of Employment:
These are project-based contractual roles, hired for one year initially. The contract may be extended annually based on individual performance and achievement of project milestones. This engagement does not establish permanent employment rights within DEPO, the Ministry of Defence Production, or any other public sector entity.
