Positions Details
1. Hydrogeologist
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related science.
- Experience: 3-4 years in Hydrogeology.
- Role: Oversee drilling programs, hydrogeological logging of samples, well development/testing, groundwater sampling, data interpretation, and management. Proficiency in hydrogeological software like ArcGIS, Aquifer testing, and geological logging is crucial.
2. Environmental Technician
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (postgraduate preferred).
- Experience: 1-5 years.
- Role: Implement Barrick’s Sustainability Policy, conduct environmental monitoring, ensure compliance with Project’s ESMP, and assist in environmental engagement, among other responsibilities.
3. Geo Technical Engineer
- Qualifications: Bachelors in geotechnical engineering, geology, or related fields (Masters preferred).
- Experience: 1-2 years (fresh graduates welcome).
- Role: Oversee slope stability functions, manage consultants, monitor slope stability, seek improvements, and integrate geotechnical models into mine plans.
4. Assistant Mechanic
- Qualifications: Middle Pass.
- Experience: 5 years in a workshop.
- Role: Vigilant approach to safety, understanding workshop tools, assisting in fault diagnosis, proper use of PPE, and effective communication with team members.
5. Electrician
- Qualifications: Technical institute certification.
- Experience: 5 years.
- Role: Maintenance skills in camp equipment, understanding electrical systems, and ensuring safety practices.
6. Admin Officer (Supply Chain)
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience: 5 years.
- Role: Supervise administrative tasks, manage logistics, coordinate travel arrangements, and oversee departmental activities.
7. Driver / Field Assistant
- Qualifications: Minimum middle pass with LTV/HTV licenses.
- Experience: 5-10 years.
- Role: Operate vehicles safely, maintain defensive driving practices, transport passengers, and perform minor vehicle maintenance.
8. Workshop Helper
- Qualifications: Middle Pass.
- Experience: 3 years.
- Role: Understand workshop tools, maintain a clean work environment, and prioritize safety.
9. Generator Operator
- Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications desired).
- Experience: Preferred experience in generator operation.
- Role: Operate and maintain power generators, conduct inspections, and manage fuel levels.
10. Warehouse Assistant / RO Plant Operator
- Qualifications: Minimum middle pass.
- Experience: 3 years.
- Role: Operate RO plant, manage materials, attend safety training, and oversee general housekeeping of the store.
