HEC INTER-UNIVERSITY ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION
Inter-university Essay Writing Competition in Urdu and English is being held in honor of Pakistan’s 75th birthday by the Higher Education Commission in association with the Ministry of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives.

Through critical thinking, creativity, and user participation, the essay writing competition hopes to educate Pakistani youth about the opportunities and obstacles the country faces as well as their part in the growth of the nation.
The youngsters have a fantastic chance to showcase their exceptional writing abilities and garner national recognition. The HEC Essay Writing Competition has a submission deadline of August 26, 2022. Please be aware that duplicate and incomplete entries will not be accepted.

Eligibility Criteria
Must be a Pakistani/AJK citizen Must be a regular university student Maximum age limit is 25 years
The essay should be submitted with a duly filled Registration Form available for download at www.hec.gov.pk Students can participate only in one language (English or Urdu).
Word Count for an essay should be between 2500-3000 words. English Essay must be typed in ‘Times New Roman size 12, with Line spacing of 1.5 & Converted to a pdf file. Urdu Essay must be typed and converted to a pdf file.
HEC reserves the right to reject any or all entries without assigning any reason. The essay along with the Registration Form is to be e-mailed and hard copies of the same be sent through the post to the address given below.
