How to Apply: Process (Walk-in Test/Interview)

This is not a “send application and wait” hiring. It is a walk-in test/interview, so preparation and punctuality are everything.

Step 1: Choose the right post and match your documents

Before you go, identify the post you are applying for and prepare proof that you meet the qualification:

  • IT/Programmer: Degree + experience letters + any evidence of relevant tools/projects (even a short project summary helps)
  • GIS Specialist: Degree + experience proof + portfolio of GIS work if available (maps, layers, surveys, dashboards—anything you can show)
  • Sub Engineer: DAE diploma + marksheets + any experience letters
  • Computer Operator/Assistant: Intermediate certificate + diploma/PGD-IT documents
  • Clerical/Complaint roles: Matric certificate + basic computer proficiency evidence (if any)
  • Driver: License (HTV/LTV) + experience proof if available
  • Support staff: Certificates as applicable (middle/matric), plus CNIC and domicile

Step 2: Prepare a clean CV (even for non-office roles)

A simple, one-page CV is enough for many posts. Include:

  • Full name, CNIC, contact number, address
  • Qualification (with year and institute)
  • Experience (where, role, duration, key duties)
  • Skills (computer, driving, technical, tools)
  • References (optional, but helpful)

Step 3: Appear in person at the correct venue and time

  • Date: 30 December 2025
  • Time: 10:00 AM
  • Venue: WASA Head Office, Plot No. 10, Lower Jhika Road, Murree
Arrive early. Walk-in processes often work on first-come document checking, then test/interview flow.

Step 4: Bring originals and keep copies ready

You are required to bring original documents, but it is smart to carry photocopies as well:

  • CNIC (original + 2 copies)
  • Domicile (original + copy)
  • Education documents (original + copies)
  • Diplomas/licenses (original + copies)
  • Experience certificates (original + copies)
  • 2 passport-size photos (recommended)

Step 5: Interview readiness (simple but effective)

  • Keep answers clear: what you can do, what you’ve done, and why you fit the role.
  • For technical roles, be ready for basic questions:
    • GIS: layers, coordinates, field survey workflow, map outputs
    • IT: database basics, troubleshooting, office systems, practical handling
    • Sub Engineer: site basics, measurements, drawings, field coordination
    • Drivers: safety, route discipline, vehicle checks
