The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Gujrat has announced short-term project vacancies on a daily-wage / work-charge basis for 85 days. Applications are invited through walk-in interviews for multiple roles, including Graduate Engineer (Civil), Accountant, IT Assistant, Sub Engineer (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical), AutoCAD Operator, Driver (HTV/LTV), and Sewerman. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience, and a practical demonstration may be taken during the interview.

What You’ll Do (Role Snapshots)
- Graduate Engineer (Civil): Assist in site supervision, quantity verification, work measurements, BOQ conformance, and QA/QC for pipe-laying and civil works; coordinate with Sub Engineers and contractors; prepare daily progress reports.
- Accountant: Maintain daily wage registers, vendor/payment files, petty cash, and support audit readiness; reconcile bills with engineering teams and ensure documentation completeness.
- IT Assistant: Support office IT—system/network basics, data entry, complaint system updates, spreadsheet reporting, scanning/archiving, and coordination with billing/HR modules.
- Sub Engineers (Civil/Mech/Elect): Field supervision, setting-out, routine checks on pumps/panels/valves, safety compliance, and as-built documentation; report emergencies promptly.
- AutoCAD Operator: Draft plans/profiles for lines, manholes, chambers, pump rooms; prepare as-builts from field notes, keep drawing index organized, plot and share revisions.
- Drivers (HTV/LTV): Operate agency vehicles, jetting/suction machines where deployed, keep logbooks, and follow basic maintenance and safety protocols.
- Sewermen: Assist with line desilting, blockage removal, chamber cleaning, and site housekeeping wearing PPE (gloves, boots, masks); report hazards to supervisors.
