Applications are invited from qualified candidates across Balochistan (and beyond, where eligible) for multiple vacancies in hospitals and health units of Rakhshan Division. These appointments will be made on a contractual/ad-hoc basis through walk-in interviews to be held at the office of the Commissioner/Chairman, Divisional Health Recruitment Committee, Rakhshan Division, Kharan. Posts include: Assistant Professor (various specialties), Senior Registrar (various), Specialists (BPS-18), Medical Officer (BPS-17), Lady Medical Officer (BPS-17), Dental Surgeon (BPS-17), Clinical Instructor (BPS-17), Tutor Nurse (BPS-17), Pharmacist (BPS-17), Head Nurse (BPS-17), Staff Nurse (BPS-16), and Male Nurse (BPS-16). Locations span divisional hospitals/health facilities in Kharan, Chagai, Noshki, Washuk, Basima and other associated sites in Rakhshan Division.

Position Matrix

Eligibility & Qualifications (By Cadre)

Assistant Professor / Senior Registrar (BPS-18) ✅

• MBBS/BDS from an institute recognized by PMDC/PMC.
• FCPS/MS/MD/MDS (postgraduate qualification) in the relevant specialty.
• Permanent PMDC/PMC registration aligned with the postgraduate qualification.
• Local/domicile of Balochistan.
• Must already be permanently employed in Government of Balochistan as Medical Officer (BPS-17), Lady Medical Officer (BPS-17), Dental Surgeon (BPS-17) or Specialist (BPS-18), as applicable to the track.

Specialists (BPS-18) ✅

• MBBS from a PMDC/PMC-recognized institute.
• Postgraduate Clinical Diploma in the relevant specialty from a recognized institute.
• Permanent PMDC/PMC registration reflecting the postgraduate qualification.

Medical Officer / Lady Medical Officer / Dental Surgeon (BPS-17) ✅

• MBBS/BDS from a PMDC/PMC-recognized institute.
• Permanent PMDC/PMC registration.

Clinical Instructor & Tutor Nurse (BPS-17) / Head Nurse (BPS-17) / Staff Nurse & Male Nurse (BPS-16) ✅

• BS Nursing (for Clinical Instructor/Tutor Nurse) from an institute recognized by Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).
• For Staff Nurse (female): General Nursing (03 years) Diploma + 01-Year Midwifery Diploma or 01-Year Specialization Diploma as applicable.
• One-year internship from a recognized hospital/institution (where applicable).
• Permanent PNC registration.
• Verification of General Nursing and Midwifery/Specialization diplomas from the issuing Board or PNC is mandatory.

General Rules

• Age limits apply as per Government of Balochistan’s existing policy.
• Candidates from across the province are eligible, subject to domicile and post-specific criteria.
• Selection is strictly on merit via walk-in interview, credentials scrutiny, and need-based allocation.

What to Bring for the Walk-In Interview 📝

• Two sets of attested copies of all educational certificates, professional experience letters, domicile, and CNIC, plus originals for verification.

• PMDC/PMC registration (for doctors/dentists) or PNC registration (for nursing cadres).
• Equivalence/Verification of diplomas/qualifications from the issuing Board/PNC where required.
• NOC from the current employer for candidates working in government/semi-government/autonomous bodies.
• Any additional documents supporting specialty practice, house jobs, or valid experience.

Terms, Conditions & Important Notes

• Contract/Ad-hoc basis: Appointments are purely contractual/ad-hoc, typically for up to two years, extendable subject to performance, funding, and administrative approval.
• Numbers may change: The competent authority may increase/decrease the number of posts or cancel the process without assigning reasons.
• No TA/DA: Travel allowance or daily allowance is not admissible for interviews.
• Merit first: Selection will be made on merit and divisional needs. Any form of canvassing or misrepresentation will result in disqualification.
• Conduct and discipline: Gross misconduct, fake documents, or breaches of service rules may lead to termination and disciplinary action.
• Probation/relieving: The appointing authority retains the right to release an appointee due to disciplinary grounds, performance shortfall, or administrative exigencies.
• Workplace placement: Final duty station/ward/unit is decided by the Divisional Directorate in line with service requirements.
• Public-interest clause: The Divisional Health Recruitment Committee reserves the right to amend the schedule, club posts, or modify criteria as per government policy.
