General Terms and Conditions
- Age will be calculated on the closing date of applications.
- Candidates must hold domicile of Punjab and meet the required qualification, course, and field experience criteria for the relevant post.
- Incomplete applications, late applications, false information, concealment of facts, or unsupported documents may lead to rejection or disqualification at any stage.
- Candidates whose applications are rejected may submit an objection to the Review Committee within 2 working days.
- The decision of the Review Committee will be final, and the merit list of successful candidates will be uploaded on www.punjabpolice.gov.pk and displayed at the relevant Special Branch office.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the written test, interview, and further process through the concerned official channel.
- The written test for all posts except Canine Handler will carry 100 marks: General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Islamiat/Ethics, Urdu, and English will carry 50 marks, while the technical portion will carry 50 marks.
- Candidates must obtain 40% passing marks and must qualify both portions separately; failure in either portion will result in failure.
- For Canine Handler BS-05, the test will include 50 marks MCQs related to canine handling and 50 marks practical covering canine training, handling, vaccination, and care.
- Candidates passing the written test will be called for interview in a 1:3 ratio.
- Original educational certificates and other documents will be checked at the interview stage.
- Candidates who qualify the interview will be called for medical fitness.
- Government employees must apply through proper channel.
- No TA/DA will be paid for test, interview, medical, or any recruitment stage.
- Late receipt of applications will not create any right of consideration, and the department will not be responsible for postal or courier delays.
