About Sindh Police (SSU) Branch
The Special Security Unit (SSU) is an elite security division of the Sindh Police in Pakistan, primarily focused on counter-terrorism and high-risk security operations. Established in response to the increasing security challenges in the region, such as terrorism and organized crime, SSU operates under a mandate to provide comprehensive and specialized security services to protect the public, dignitaries, and vital infrastructure.
Sindh Police Jobs 2024 Quotas:
- 15% women quota
- 5% minority quota
- 5% disabled quota (only for Junior Clerk)
- 40% for Urban & 60% for Rural areas as per the policy of the Government of Sindh
Sindh Police (SSU) Job Application Process for Advertisement#01:
- To apply for SSU Sindh Police jobs, candidates can either apply online through the SSU web portal or manually using the prescribed application form available on the SSU website (https://ssusindhpolice.gos.pk/ssu-recruitment/).
- Completed application forms, along with a copy of the CNIC, can be submitted online or sent by registered post, Pakistan Post, TCS, or UMS to the Commandant, Special Security Unit (SSU), Police Headquarters, Hassan Square, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Block-15, Karachi before the application deadline of June 25, 2024.
- Application forms can also be obtained from the Sindh Police website (www.sindhpolice.gov.pk).
- SSU is not responsible for late deliveries, and incomplete or in-person submissions will not be accepted. No applications will be entertained after the deadline.
Application Process for Advertisement#02&3:
- Online registration is required on the official candidate portal of SIBA Testing Services (STS): https://apply.sts.net.pk/.
Sindh Police Jobs (SSU) Selection Process:
- Verification of original certificates will be done for candidates called for an interview.
- Candidates in government service must apply through the proper channel.
- Candidates qualifying in the written test will be called for a typing test (only for Junior Clerks).
- Candidates passing the typing test must write 300 words in English, Urdu, or Sindhi within 30 minutes on the interview day (only for Junior Clerks).
Additional Information:
- No online application will be accepted after the last date of submission.
- Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
- Candidates qualifying at all stages of the recruitment process will receive an additional fifteen (15) marks. This includes:
- Children of retired Sindh Police employees.
- Children of serving employees of the Sindh Police with a minimum of 25 years of qualifying service on the last date of submission of the online application.
- The test date, time, and venue will be communicated through official letters and SMS via the SIBA Testing Services (STS) website.
