Rescue 1122 – Emergency Services Department, Government of the Punjab – has announced fresh recruitment for Headquarters & Academy as well as District Cadre through the Central Testing Service (CTS). Vacancies include: Admin Officer, Assistant Officer (Planning), Auto Technician, Computer/IT Technician, Audio/Video Operator, Wireless Technician, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Store Keeper, Junior Store Keeper, and Rescue Driver (LTV). These positions are on a one-year contract (extendable on performance) and are based across multiple districts of Punjab including Attock, Bahawalnagar, Chakwal, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Jhang, Jhelum, Lodhran, Layyah, Mandi Bahauddin, Mianwali, Muzaffargarh, Nankana Sahib, Narowal, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, and Toba Tek Singh.

👉 District-wise seats are available across Punjab (including the districts listed in the summary above). Candidates will compete for district posts as per domicile/CNIC, and local residents will be preferred.
Eligibility, Fitness & General Conditions
- ✅ Citizenship & Domicile: Pakistani nationals holding Punjab domicile/CNIC for district posts.
- ✅ Education: Degrees/diplomas must be from recognized institutions/boards; at least 2nd Division where specified.
- ✅ Physical & Medical Standards:
- Good physical fitness is essential for field roles, especially EMT and Rescue Driver.
- Vision: Not less than 6/6 in each eye (without glasses); color blindness is disqualifying.
- BMI: < 30 (obesity at BMI 30 or above is ineligible).
- Infections: Hepatitis B & C, HIV and RPR positive status is not eligible.
- Chest/Height: Preference for candidates with height > 5’6”; minimum chest 33” (as applicable).
- ✅ Age: As indicated against each post; no relaxation in age/qualification (Army/Civil). Existing ESD/Rescue 1122 employees may be given up to 5 years relaxation in upper age for administrative posts only.
- ✅ Quotas: 5% minorities and 15% females; transgender persons are encouraged to apply.
- ✅ Selection Process: Written & psychological tests, physical/skills tests, and interviews. Only completely filled applications are accepted.

- Interview & Medical 🏥
- Final interviews will be conducted at ESD Headquarters, Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore.
- At interview time, submit a medical report issued by a Government Teaching Hospital or DHQ Hospital covering physical examination (height, weight, chest, eyesight/physical deformities) and laboratory tests (Hepatitis B & C, HIV, RPR).

What Each Role Involves (at a glance)
- Admin Officer (HQ/Academy): Oversee administration, HR files, trainings, and liaison with government departments; implement policies, supervise staff, and handle reports, audits, and logistics for the academy. Strong command over MS Office and official correspondence is essential.
- Assistant Officer (Planning): Assist in data analysis, forecasting, and resource planning; develop MIS dashboards, evaluate response times and coverage, and support strategic planning for rescue operations across districts.
- Auto Technician: Maintain and repair ambulances/rescue vehicles, focusing on auto electrical systems; perform preventive maintenance, ensure vehicle readiness, and maintain service records.
- Computer/IT Technician: Provide hardware troubleshooting, OS installation, basic network support, surveillance console setup, and maintenance of control room systems and peripherals.
- Audio/Video Operator: Operate multimedia equipment for trainings, drills, and official events; manage recording, live sound, classroom presentations, and archiving of A/V assets.
- Wireless Technician: Maintain wireless base stations, handheld sets, repeaters, and ensure 24/7 communication uptime; coordinate with field teams and perform field diagnostics.
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT): Provide pre-hospital care, stabilization, triage, and safe patient transfer; manage first-aid, CPR, immobilization, oxygen therapy, and documentation per SOPs.
- Store Keeper / Junior Store Keeper: Manage inventory, receipts, issues, and stock levels of medical supplies, PPE, vehicle spares, and training equipment; ensure accurate ERP/ledger entries and monthly reconciliations.
- Rescue Driver (LTV): Drive ambulances/rescue vehicles safely, follow emergency driving protocols, vehicle checklists, and coordinate with control room/EMT for rapid and safe response.
