The latest Rescue 1122 Jobs 2024 – Sindh Emergency Rescue Service announcement for the Project name “Expansion of Rescue 1122 Services on Major Highways/Motorways Staff Urgently Required For Highway Rescue Operations”: Dated June 23, 2024, and published in the Daily Jang ePaper, applications are being invited for the positions of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Driver, Instructor, Rescue Drill Instructor, Water Rescuer Instructor, Fire Drill Instructor.

SFERP is the World Bank funded project in which Institutional Strengthening (Rescue-1122) is one of the major components to cater the emergency on major Highways & Motorways, 16 satellite stations are developed. For operationalizing these satellite stations following staff is urgently required to be posted at M9, N5, N55).

Available Positions:

Paramedics / Emergency Medical Technician (PPS-05/04)

• Number of Posts: 200
• Posting Locations: Satellite Stations on M9, N5, N55 (Non-Transferable)
• Eligibility: Nursing or Paramedical Degree or Diploma (2nd Division) from a recognized institution. Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency rescue, public sector, hospital, ambulance service, emergency, or trauma care.
• Age: 20-42 years.

Rescue Driver (PPS-01)

• Number of Posts: 200
• Posting Locations: Satellite Stations on M9, N5, N55 (Non-Transferable)
• Eligibility: Middle school education with LTV/Motor Car License (Preference for Matriculation and relevant experience).
• Age: 20-35 years.
• Note: Candidates with a Motor Car License must obtain an LTV license within the 6-month probation period.

Candidate Instructions:

• Candidates must be physically and mentally fit to handle extreme situations such as accidents, trauma emergencies, and various rescue operations (e.g., car crashes, building collapses, water and flood rescues, and high-rise building evacuations).
• Selection Process: Final selection will follow successful training. During training, a fixed honorarium will be provided. Unsuccessful candidates will be replaced by waiting candidates.
• Medical Screening: Candidates must pass a physical fitness assessment as per the recruitment policy. Those with physical deformities, weak eyesight (worse than 6/18), color blindness, BMI over 30, or certain medical conditions (Hepatitis B&C, HIV, RPR, STD) are not eligible. Tests will be conducted at designated hospitals and labs.

  • Submit photocopies of documents as per the checklist in the application form.
  • Government employees must apply through proper channels.
  • The number of posts is subject to change.
  • Only complete applications will be accepted. Offers are subject to document verification, police verification, training completion, and medical clearance.
• Tests:
  • Written and psychological tests will be conducted at designated centers.
  • Bring original CNIC and Roll No slips to the test.
  • Mobile phones are prohibited in examination centers.
  • Candidates must apply for only one post.
  • Successful candidates will present original documents and medical reports during the interview.

4. Deadline: Submit applications by July 12, 2024. Late applications will not be entertained.
