QESCO, a Public Limited Company under the Government’s jurisdiction, invites applications for various positions to fill the required quota and provide electricity to its customers. We seek suitable candidates to join QESCO on a lump sum (contractual basis). All quotas, including 20% for Employees’ Children as per the Pakistan Ministry of Energy (Power Division) policy, will be observed.

Details of the available positions:

1. Audit Assistant (BPS 14)
   • Qualifications/Experience: B.Com, preferably with Auditing and Advanced Accounting as a special subject, or B.A/B.Sc from a recognized university with 3 years of experience in Audit and Accounts of a Govt./Semi-Govt. Dept./Corporation/Autonomous Body or a reputed Commercial Organization. Must have completed a 6-week IT Training Course (including MS Office) conducted by NITB/TEVTA institutions recognized by the Board of Technical Education/Higher Education Commission.
   • Vacancies: 5 (Open Merit – Balochistan Local/Domicile), 1 (Women quota)
   • Age Limit: 18-33 years (only for Balochistan Local/Domicile)
2. Line Superintendent-I (BPS 15)
   • Qualifications/Experience: Three years diploma from a Government Polytechnic Institute or equivalent qualifications with one year of experience in a supervisory post in any Electric Supply Undertaking or Electrical Concern of repute engaged in the construction of transmission and distribution works.
   • Vacancies: 28 (Open Merit – Balochistan Local/Domicile), 9 (Employees Children quota), 5 (Women quota), 2 (Minority quota), 1 (Disabled quota)
   • Age Limit: 18-33 years (only for Balochistan Local/Domicile)
3. Line Superintendent-II (BPS 14)
   • Qualifications/Experience: Three years diploma in associate engineering in electrical/electronic technology from any recognized government polytechnic institute with First Division.
   • Vacancies: 84 (Open Merit – Balochistan Local/Domicile), 27 (Employees Children quota), 14 (Women quota), 7 (Minority quota), 3 (Disabled quota)
   • Age Limit: 18-33 years (only for Balochistan Local/Domicile)
4. Meter Reader (BPS 09)
   • Qualifications: Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (in Arts, Commerce, or Science) from a recognized board.
   • Vacancies: 30 (Open Merit – Balochistan Local/Domicile), 9 (Employees Children quota), 5 (Women quota), 2 (Minority quota), 1 (Disabled quota)
   • Age Limit: 18-33 years (only for Balochistan Local/Domicile)
5. Assistant Lineman (BPS 05)
   • Qualifications: Matriculation (Minimum Physical Parameters: Height – 5 ft. 4 inches, Chest – 32 inches, Weight – as per BMI Chart with 5% relaxation on the upper side).
   • Vacancies: 618 (Open Merit – Balochistan Local/Domicile), 165 (Employees Children quota), 4 (Minority quota)
   • Age Limit: 18-33 years (only for Balochistan Local/Domicile)

Skill Tests/Physical Tests Standards:

• Skill Test: Knowledge-based (Matric Minimum)
• Physical Tests:
  • Running 800 meters in 5 minutes
  • 20 Push Ups in 3 minutes
  • Lifting 30 kg in a single attempt
  • Digging a ditch of 2x2x2 feet
  • Climbing 10 feet on a tower/ladder with safety equipment
  • Pulling wires in one span of 100 feet
