The Privatisation Commission (PC) is seeking to recruit in-house consultants on a contract basis, initially for a period of two years (extendable). Applications are invited from qualified and task-oriented candidates who meet the following eligibility criteria:

Eligibility Criteria / Suitability

1. Senior Consultant
   • Grade: PC Grade: G-I
   • Number of Posts: 03
   • Tenure: 02 Years (extendable)
   • Qualifications: Master’s in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field from an HEC recognized university, or CPA, FCMA, FCA, FCCA.
   • Experience:
     • At least 10 years post-qualification experience in mergers & acquisitions, investment, corporate finance, valuation, restructuring, financial business analysis, etc., in sectors such as Energy, Power Industries, Utilities SOEs, Infrastructure, Logistic, Financial, Banking, and Corporate.
     • Minimum 5 years of experience at a top financial management level in a commercial/public sector organization.
   • Maximum Age Limit: 62 Years
   • Remuneration: Benchmarked at MP-I.
   • Key Responsibilities: Provided in the application form.
2. Senior Consultant (Legal)
   • Grade: PC Grade: G-I
   • Number of Posts: 02
   • Tenure: 02 Years (extendable)
   • Qualifications: Law graduate from an HEC recognized university, preferably with specialization in contract and corporate law. L.L.M and Bar-at-Law preferred.
   • Experience:
     • Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience in corporate law/public sector/legal matters concerning commercial agreements, divestments, mergers & acquisitions transactions, privatization, and corporate/commercial litigation.
     • Valid License to practice in the Supreme Court of Pakistan or High Court of Pakistan.
   • Maximum Age Limit: 62 Years
   • Remuneration: Benchmarked at MP-I.
   • Key Responsibilities: Provided in the application form.
3. Consultant (Legal)
   • Grade: PC Grade: G-II
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Tenure: 02 Years (extendable)
   • Qualifications: Law graduate from an HEC recognized university. L.L.M and Bar-at-Law preferred.
   • Experience:
     • Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience in corporate law/public sector/legal matters concerning commercial agreements, divestments, mergers & acquisitions transactions, privatization, and corporate/commercial litigation.
     • Valid License to practice in the High Court of Pakistan.
   • Maximum Age Limit: 62 Years
   • Remuneration: Benchmarked at MP-II.
   • Key Responsibilities: Provided in the application form.
4. Financial Analyst
   • Grade: PC Grade: G-II
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Tenure: 02 Years (extendable)
   • Qualifications: Qualified CFA Level 2 or higher.
   • Experience:
     • Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
     • Minimum 2 years of experience conducting financial analysis, studies, evaluations.
   • Maximum Age Limit: 62 Years
   • Remuneration: Benchmarked at MP-II.
   • Key Responsibilities: Provided in the application form.
5. Consultant
   • Grade: PC Grade: G-II
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Tenure: 02 Years (extendable)
   • Qualifications: Master’s in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field from an HEC recognized university, or CPA, ACMA, ACA, ACCA.
   • Experience:
     • At least 7 years post-qualification experience in mergers & acquisitions, investment, corporate finance, valuation, restructuring, financial analysis, studies, evaluations, etc., in sectors such as Energy, Financial, Industrial & Service SOEs, and Corporate.
     • Minimum 3 years of experience at a middle management level position in a commercial/public sector organization.
   • Maximum Age Limit: 62 Years
   • Remuneration: Benchmarked at MP-II.
   • Key Responsibilities: Provided in the application form.

Additional Information

1. Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication/presentation skills and proficiency in computer usage.
2. Higher education or additional experience will carry extra marks.
3. Only short-listed candidates will be called for an interview.
4. Pay packages can be revised as per the provisions of regulations/policy.
5. Interviews will be conducted in Islamabad only. No TA/DA shall be admissible.
