Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) Advertisement No. 23/2024

The Punjab Public Service Commission has announced multiple job openings in various departments under the Government of Punjab. The following positions are available for the Sub-engineer (civil) and mechanical with DAE qualification.

1. Transport Officer (BS-16) – Directorate of Civil Defence

• Qualification/Experience: Matric with a 3-year Automobile Engineering Diploma from a Government Polytechnic Institute with 05 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, Ex-Subedar qualified from Army School in M.T. or EME with 02 years of experience.
• Age Limit: 20-30 years (+8 years age relaxation for males) | 20-38 years (+8 years for females)
• Gender: Male, Female, and Transgender
• Domicile: All Punjab Basis
• Posting Location: Lahore
• Syllabus for Written Examination: MCQs-based test covering Automobile Engineering (80%) and General Knowledge (20%).

2. Assistant Electric Inspector (BS-17) – Chief Engineer (Power), Energy Department

• Qualification/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution by HEC, registered as an Engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
• Age Limit: 21-30 years (+5 years age relaxation)
• Gender: Male, Female, and Transgender
• Domicile: All Punjab Basis
• Posting Location: Punjab
• Syllabus for Written Examination: MCQs-based test covering Qualification-related questions (80%) and General Knowledge (20%).

3. Sub Engineer (Civil) (BS-14) – Punjab Irrigation Department

• Qualification/Experience: Diploma in Civil Engineering (3 years) from a recognized institution.
• Age Limit: 18-25 years (+8 years age relaxation for males) | 18-33 years (+8 years for females)
• Gender: Male, Female, and Transgender
• Domicile: Various zones in Punjab
• Syllabus for Written Examination: MCQs-based test covering Qualification-related questions (80%) and General Knowledge (20%).

4. Sub Engineer (Mechanical) (BS-14) – Punjab Irrigation Department

• Qualification/Experience: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3 years) from a recognized institution.
• Age Limit: 18-25 years (+8 years age relaxation for males) | 18-33 years (+8 years for females)
• Gender: Male, Female, and Transgender
• Domicile: All Punjab Basis
• Syllabus for Written Examination: MCQs-based test covering Qualification-related questions (80%) and General Knowledge (20%).
