Job Purpose of Specialist Finance at PPMC
The Specialist (Finance) will assist the Managing Director (MD), PPMC in analyzing sectoral, financial and operational data related to Pakistan’s power sector. The role involves reviewing, consolidating and analyzing analytical inputs, reports and datasets prepared by different functional units of PPMC.
This position requires a finance professional who can convert complex power sector data into clear, evidence-based insights for senior-level decision-making. The selected candidate will support financial oversight, policy analysis, tariff-related work, performance monitoring and reform-linked evaluation across power sector entities.
Key Responsibilities of Specialist Finance
The Specialist Finance will report directly to the Managing Director (MD), PPMC and will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial, operational and analytical reports. The role requires strong command over finance, sectoral analysis, reporting, modelling and decision-support work.
