What You’ll Be Doing

If you’re applying as VP or Deputy Head – Central Operations, your job will be to oversee the full spectrum of card, ATM, and transaction settlement operations, including debit card issuance, ATM switching, fraud prevention, and SBP compliance. You’ll manage reconciliations across 1Link and PayPak, track failed transactions, and coordinate closely with IT vendors and internal departments. Your success will be judged on system integrity, regulatory compliance, and reduction in customer-facing transaction errors.

As an Officer in Clearing, you’ll focus on clearing instruments across branches, managing vouchers and verifying daily postings in line with SOPs. Card Issuance and Dispatch Officers will oversee the full lifecycle of debit card production, personalization, issuance, and delivery, ensuring customers receive cards securely and on time.

Settlement Officers are charged with reconciling all types of electronic transactions (ATM, POS, interbank) while generating internal MIS and resolving mismatches. You’ll coordinate with audit and regulatory bodies and maintain daily exception reports that support operational accuracy.

If your strength is in mobile and internet banking, that role requires a more analytical and tech-forward mindset. You’ll track outages, run usage reports, support UI testing, and help roll out new features aligned with SBP regulations and internal policies. It’s a hybrid of product management and tech oversight, with close ties to IT and Customer Experience teams.
