The Pakistan Railways Office of Project Director, 230-Coaches, located at the Railways Carriage Factory in Sector I/11, Islamabad, is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill various vacant posts under the PSDP Project “Procurement/Manufacture of 230 Passenger Coaches.” These positions are contractual for two years, adhering to the Standard Pay Package 2022 for PSDP-funded project staff.

Terms & Conditions/Instructions for Candidates:

1. Application forms can be downloaded from the Pakistan Railways website, www.pakrail.gov.pk, or collected from the office of the Assistant Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways Carriage Factory, Islamabad, during working hours.
2. Applicants can apply for more than one post but must submit separate applications for each post.
3. Applications must include attested copies of educational/technical certificates, experience certificates, character certificates, domicile, CNIC, 2 fresh passport-size photographs, and 2 envelopes with a postal address and registered stamp.
4. Eligibility will be determined based on qualifications, experience, practical test, and interview.
5. Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.
6. Candidates without a final transcript are ineligible.
7. Roll number slips with test center, timing, and date information will be dispatched to the provided postal address before the practical test/interview.
8. Original documents must be presented at the interview.
9. The positions are purely contractual with no future regularization.
10. Selected candidates must pass a prescribed medical examination and security clearance.
11. Quotas: 5% for minorities/non-Muslims, 1% for orphans, 10% for ex-servicemen, and 20% for children of railway employees, including 2% for children of deceased employees.
12. Fake or bogus information will result in disqualification and legal action.
13. No TA/DA will be provided.
14. The competent authority reserves the right to reject applications without reason and may alter the number of vacancies.
15. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews.

Age Relaxation:

1. General age relaxation is admissible as per Government rules.
2. Additional 3 years for Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, Sindh Urban/Rural, and Baluchistan candidates.
3. For ex-servicemen, the upper age limit is relaxable to up to 15 years or the actual number of years served in the Armed Forces of Pakistan, whichever is less.

Weightage for Selection:

• Practical Test: 60%
• Interview: 40%
