Terms & Conditions/Instructions for Candidates:
- Application forms can be downloaded from the Pakistan Railways website, www.pakrail.gov.pk, or collected from the office of the Assistant Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways Carriage Factory, Islamabad, during working hours.
- Applicants can apply for more than one post but must submit separate applications for each post.
- Applications must include attested copies of educational/technical certificates, experience certificates, character certificates, domicile, CNIC, 2 fresh passport-size photographs, and 2 envelopes with a postal address and registered stamp.
- Eligibility will be determined based on qualifications, experience, practical test, and interview.
- Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.
- Candidates without a final transcript are ineligible.
- Roll number slips with test center, timing, and date information will be dispatched to the provided postal address before the practical test/interview.
- Original documents must be presented at the interview.
- The positions are purely contractual with no future regularization.
- Selected candidates must pass a prescribed medical examination and security clearance.
- Quotas: 5% for minorities/non-Muslims, 1% for orphans, 10% for ex-servicemen, and 20% for children of railway employees, including 2% for children of deceased employees.
- Fake or bogus information will result in disqualification and legal action.
- No TA/DA will be provided.
- The competent authority reserves the right to reject applications without reason and may alter the number of vacancies.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews.
Age Relaxation:
- General age relaxation is admissible as per Government rules.
- Additional 3 years for Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, Sindh Urban/Rural, and Baluchistan candidates.
- For ex-servicemen, the upper age limit is relaxable to up to 15 years or the actual number of years served in the Armed Forces of Pakistan, whichever is less.
Weightage for Selection:
- Practical Test: 60%
- Interview: 40%
