National Power Parks Management Company (NPPMCL) is hiring a Chief Executive Officer to lead two RLNG CCGT plants—1223 MW Balloki and 1230 MW Haveli Bahadur Shah—within a utility holding PKR 500+ billion in assets. The CEO will set strategy, ensure compliant plant operations, and work with the Ministry of Energy, NEPRA, and CPPA-G while driving performance and governance. 1. Position Overview

The CEO will be responsible for managing the company’s power generation operations with a strong focus on:

• Strategic leadership aligned with company vision and goals.
• Innovative management solutions while adhering to regulatory frameworks.

• Accountability and performance-based leadership across all levels.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring smooth operations and maintenance of power plants.
• Developing and executing a business plan aligned with national energy policies.
• Coordinating with Ministry of Energy, NEPRA, CPPA-G, and other regulatory authorities.
• Maintaining effective governance and communication with stakeholders.
• Implementing policy decisions of government bodies.
• Overseeing operational expenditures and risk management.
• Preparing timely reports for the Board of Directors.
• Leading the implementation of HR and organizational development strategies.

3. Minimum Qualification

Applicants must hold at least one of the following HEC-recognized degrees:

• Business Administration
• Public Administration
• Finance / Commerce / Marketing
• Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics) registered with PEC
• Or an equivalent discipline

Alternatively, being a member of a recognized professional accountancy body also qualifies.

4. Minimum Experience

Candidates should have at least 10 years of senior management experience, preferably in organizations with commercial and industrial orientation, with one of the following backgrounds:

• Leadership in business administration, finance, or commerce.
• Prior experience as a Chief Executive or senior management role in a commercial/government organization.
• Member of governing body or Head of Department in a professional institute.

5. Other Requirements

• Must comply with Fit & Proper Criteria under Schedule-IV of the State-Owned Enterprises Act, 2023.
• Strong leadership, strategic foresight, team-building, and regulatory acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability in change management and performance improvement.
