Career Opportunities – National Institute of Health (NIH)

A Donor Funded Project is seeking to hire dynamic and career-oriented professionals on a contract basis for the following positions. Details of the job openings, required qualifications, and experience are provided below:

1. Chief Supply Chain Officer

• Number of Positions: 1
• Place of Posting: Islamabad
• Required Qualification & Experience:
  • Master’s Degree in Pharmacy or a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management/Procurement Contract Management from an HEC recognized university.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in managing supply chains, preferably for HIV/TB/Mal programs. Extensive experience in health sector procurement and management is required.
  • Additional qualification/certification in CIPS/ASCM (or equivalent) is required.
  • At least 12 years of post-qualification experience in procurement, with 8 years in a senior supply chain management role.
  • Experience in working with Global Fund-supported programs will be an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with good knowledge of supply chain-specific activities such as procurement, quantification, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Maximum Age: 50 years.

2. Strategic Information Specialist (HIV/AIDS)

• Number of Positions: 1
• Place of Posting: Islamabad
• Required Qualification & Experience:
  • MBBS with a Master’s degree in Public Health (MSPH) from an HEC recognized university.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in strategic information, including 5 years in HIV programs.
  • Experience in analyzing data, turning information into actionable insights for decision-making, and managing international donor rules and regulations.
  • Maximum Age: 50 years.

3. Program Manager – TB

• Number of Positions: 1
• Place of Posting: Islamabad
• Required Qualification & Experience:
  • MBBS with a Master’s in Public Health from an HEC recognized university.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in public health programs, with 5 years in managerial roles within donor-funded projects.
  • Strong experience in managing diverse stakeholders, especially in TB, HIV/AIDS, or other infectious diseases.
  • Effective communication and project management skills, along with a strong command of English.
  • Maximum Age: 50 years.

4. Program Manager – Malaria

• Number of Positions: 1
• Place of Posting: Islamabad
• Required Qualification & Experience:
  • MBBS with a Master’s in Public Health from an HEC recognized university.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in public health programs, with 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Strong experience in managing stakeholders, especially in Malaria, TB, or HIV/AIDS programs.
  • Effective communication and project management skills, with strong command in grant proposal writing and report generation.
  • Maximum Age: 50 years.

5. Program Manager – HIV/AIDS

• Number of Positions: 1
• Place of Posting: Islamabad
• Required Qualification & Experience:
  • MBBS with a Master’s in Public Health from an HEC recognized university.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in public health programs, with 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Experience in managing stakeholders, especially within HIV/AIDS-related projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with excellent command of English and report writing.
