FCPS-II (Paediatric Medicine)
- Participate in ward rounds, emergency cover, OPD clinics, and night duties as per roster.
- Build mastery in paediatric assessment, diagnostic reasoning, antibiotic stewardship, fluid/electrolyte management, and safe procedural practice.
- Document care meticulously in line with hospital standards; contribute to discharge planning and caregiver counselling.
- Prepare for FCPS evaluations via structured study plans, simulated vivas, and regular feedback sessions.
FCPS-II (Paediatric Surgery)
- Assist in elective and emergency surgeries, pre-operative and post-operative care, and theatre protocols.
- Strengthen core surgical skills, including sterile technique, operative assistance, post-op pain management, and early complication recognition.
- Maintain surgical logbooks and participate in M&M reviews and audit cycles.
MCPS (Paediatric Medicine)
- Develop a balanced skill set for district-level paediatrics: acute care, common ward problems, preventive child health, nutrition, and growth monitoring.
- Engage in case-based learning and clinical teaching of house officers/medical students.
Post-Fellowship Training (PICU, Nephrology, Neonatology)
- Manage high-acuity patients with a multidisciplinary team; participate in protocol development, family counselling, and handover best practices.
- Lead QI initiatives focused on infection control, device-associated complication reduction, and outcome tracking.
- Mentor junior trainees and house officers within the unit.
House Job (Paediatric Medicine & Surgery)
- Perform supervised patient assessments, present in rounds, and assist with procedures according to competency.
- Attend mandatory orientation, BLS/NRP sessions, and safety trainings.
- Uphold professional conduct, punctuality, and accurate documentation.
