Under the Cabinet Division, the Government of Pakistan’s National Archives of Pakistan is inviting applications for various vacant positions in Islamabad.

1. Stenotypist (BS-14):
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Qualifications/Experience: Intermediate with a minimum typing speed of 80/40 WPM in shorthand and computer literacy.
   • Quota: Punjab (Women Quota)
   • Age Limit: 18-25 years
2. Cataloguer/Classifier (BS-10):
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Qualifications/Experience: Second class or grade “C” Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science from a recognized university.
   • Quota: Sindh-R
   • Age Limit: 18-25 years
3. Laboratory Assistant (BS-05):
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Qualifications/Experience: Matriculate in Science.
   • Quota: Merit
   • Age Limit: 18-25 years
4. Driver (BS-04):
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Qualifications/Experience: Primary Pass with a valid driving license and well-versed in traffic rules.
   • Quota: Punjab
   • Age Limit: 18-30 years
5. Book Sorter/Record Sorter (BS-02):
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Qualifications/Experience: Middle Pass.
   • Quota: Local
   • Age Limit: 18-25 years
6. Naib Qasid (BS-01):

   • Qualifications/Experience: Primary Pass.

Terms & Conditions:

1. Applications must be submitted on the prescribed proforma, with attested copies of relevant documents and a recent passport-sized photograph, within 15 days of this advertisement’s publication.
2. Application forms can be obtained from the office of the undersigned or downloaded from www.archives.gov.pk.
3. Appointments will be made according to the Federal Government’s prevailing Recruitment Rules/Policy.
4. Age relaxation will be granted per existing government rules.
5. The age will be calculated from the closing date of application submission.
6. Eligibility will be determined based on the academic qualifications mentioned for each post.
7. Candidates can apply for multiple posts by submitting separate applications for each.
8. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews.
9. Candidates must present original documents and attested copies during the interview.
10. Government employees should apply through proper channels and submit an NOC with the application.
11. Tests/interviews will be held at the National Archives of Pakistan, Block-N, Pak Secretariat, Islamabad.
12. Hand-delivered or incomplete applications and those not on the prescribed form will not be entertained.
13. The National Archives of Pakistan reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process or increase/decrease the number of vacancies at any stage without assigning any reason.
14. No TA/DA will be provided for test/interview purposes.
