The Ministry of Maritime Affairs under the Government of Pakistan has announced an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced professional to fill the position of Chairman, Karachi Port Trust (KPT). The position is based in Karachi and involves implementing the mandate of the organization as per the KPT Act, 1886.
Eligibility Criteria

| Educational Qualification | Master’s Degree from HEC-recognized university in the field of Management, Administrative, Social/Natural Sciences, Engineering, Information Technology, MBA/MPA. |
| Work Experience | At least 9 years of post-qualification experience at the executive level in administration, management, or project development in a public or private organization. Candidates with at least 5 years of senior management experience will be preferred. Experience in port management is a plus. |
| Age Limit | Maximum age limit is 62 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications. |
| Remuneration & Other Facilities | Equivalent to Management Pay Scale-I. |
| Contract Duration | As per the provisions of the KPT Act, 1886. |
| Nationality | Pakistani citizens only. |
Job Description
The Chairman will be responsible for duties and functions assigned under the KPT Act, 1886, managing operations and projects related to the Karachi Port Trust.
