1) Adviser, Emerging Technologies Research (SPPS-I)

• Experience: 12–15+ years in frontier tech research & translation (e.g., AI, 5G/6G, IoT, quantum, blockchain), with a track record of program design, patents/publications, and collaboration with academia/industry.
• Core responsibilities:
  • Shape a national emerging technologies research roadmap, centers of excellence, and grant mechanisms.
  • Align R&D with industrial policy, standards, and national security considerations.

2) Director, E-Governance (SPPS-II)

• Typical education: Master’s in IT/Computer Science/Software Engineering, or Public Administration/Policy with strong digital delivery credentials.
• Experience: 8–12 years leading government digital services, enterprise architecture, process re-engineering, and GovTech platforms (single sign-on, digital identity, e-payments, paperless workflows).
• Core responsibilities:
  • Drive transactional e-services, interoperability, open APIs, and shared platforms.
  • Implement service design and citizen-centric UX, with measurable uptake KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, cybersecurity, and PPRA guidelines.

3) Director, Digital Economy (SPPS-II)

• Typical education: Economics, Data/Policy, Business, or Tech Management from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience: 8–12 years in digital trade & taxation, platforms and marketplaces, fintech/payments, and SME digitization programs.
• Core responsibilities:
  • Formulate policies for e-commerce enablement, cross-border digital trade, and startup/VC growth.
  • Develop evidence-based digital economy indicators and facilitate public-private dialogue.
  • Harmonize fiscal/regulatory frameworks to reduce compliance friction for digital firms.

4) Director, Internet Governance (SPPS-II)

• Typical education: Law/Policy/International Relations/IT.
• Experience: 8–12 years engaging with multistakeholder internet governance bodies (IGF, ITU, ICANN, IETF) and drafting national positions on standards, spectrum, and online safety.
• Core responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Pakistan’s stance on open internet, standards, and emerging regimes.

6) Director General, Emerging Skills (SPPS-II)

7) Expert, Emerging Tech (AI & ML) (SPPS-III)
