Job Opportunity: Chairman Position at Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Islamabad

The Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training invites applications for the vacant position of Chairman at the Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Islamabad. The appointment will be for an initial term of three years, extendable for a second term of up to three years, based on the following eligibility criteria:

Position Details:

• Position: Chairman (BPS-20)
• Number of Posts: 01 (Merit-based)
• Age Limit:
  • For Private Candidates: 45 years (plus 05 years general age relaxation)
  • For Government Servants: As per applicable rules

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Education:
   • 16 years of formal education / 4-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Education, Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, or Public Policy from a university/institution recognized by the HEC.
2. Experience:
   • 17 years of post-qualification relevant work experience in the public or private sector, with at least 05 years in a senior management position.

Application Instructions:

• Eligible candidates should submit their applications on the prescribed form along with attested copies of relevant documents.
• Submission of original documents will be mandatory at the time of the interview.
• Government servants should apply through proper channels and produce a NOC at the time of the interview.
• Candidates from the government sector, if selected, will be appointed on a deputation/transfer basis, while private sector candidates will be appointed on a contract basis.
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in educational examination/assessment bodies.
• No TA/DA will be provided to attend the test/interview.
• Applications must reach the undersigned within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication via courier/UMS/Registered Post.
• Applications received after the due date or incomplete applications will not be entertained.
