The Ministry of Defence Production, Government of Pakistan, through the Heavy Industries Taxila Board, Taxila Cantt, is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the position of Consultant Supply Chain Management. This is a contract-based government job located at Taxila Cantonment, with an initial contract duration of three years (extendable for another year). The position is focused on supply chain management, and the selected candidate will be responsible for managing procurement, logistics, and supply chain processes within the defense sector. The role is crucial for enhancing efficiency and compliance within supply chain operations, particularly within defense-related contexts.

Job Position Details:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage supply chain strategies to optimize resource allocation and logistics.
• Implement life cycle management, warehousing, and inventory management practices.
• Coordinate with Government Ministries, GHQ, CMAs, Customs authorities, and banks for seamless supply chain operations.
• Ensure compliance with Public Procurement Rules and international trade regulations.
• Conduct data analysis and forecasting for continuous improvement of supply chain processes.
• Develop sustainable supply chain practices using modern strategies and ERP systems.
• Facilitate coordination among defense and public sector stakeholders.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in supply chain management tools and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and forecasting.
• Excellent coordination and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of public procurement regulations and contract compliance.
• Familiarity with logistics, warehousing, and inventory control.

Terms and Conditions:

• Pay Package: Negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
• Period of Contract: Three years (extendable for one additional year).
